Sagarika Tourist Lodge

It's an excellent place to stay.. You will get affordable and comfortable room here in front of the river view. Hotel rooms and furnitures are excellent.
We enjoyed our foods also in that trip.
People should stay here atleast one night to get the experience!

Quite a decent place with nice service and excellent food. We tried the restaurant for a quick coffee and some snacks. Excellent view of the river from the restaurant. We tried fish fry. The quality of the food is too good. Restaurant could be a little more well maintained. Staff is excellent, so is the service.

One of the best location and amenities in Diamond Harbour. Well renovated, spacious room.
Great food and fish fry is their speciality.
Staffs are good and helpful. However we felt it's understaffed when rooms are all occupied and food and service takes much longer time.
One star less because the lower parts of walls in the rooms had damp and can be difficult if you have alergy.

Wonderful place to stay, people managing the hotel are quite efficient and serve to their level best to make the guest happy. Room condition and cleanliness was good. Food was tasty and hygienic. Must try dish is - Fish Fry. This place faces quite high inflow of guests, so food delivery is bit slow. Otherwise would definite recommend others to stay at this place with their family and friends.

It was one of many tourist lodge owned by West Bengal Tourism Development Corporation. This property has been renovated completely into a modern hotel. This is now fully airconditioned hotel. The lobby is spacious with luxurious seating arrangement. The cafeteria also is fully airconditioned with modern seating arrangement. There are modern, clean and hygienic toilets for both male and female. Number of modern wash basins. We had lunch in the cafeteria. The food quality and quantities were both good. The fish fry was a signature dish. Overall impression is very good.

It was a great stay indeed!! If you are planning to stay at Sagorika, please look out for Mr. Biswajit,he is so humble & courteous,took care of us for all of our meals. But disappointed with the size of fish fries respective of the price we paid. Other than that we had a great time staying here.

Place is reasonable quality. River view rooms much preferable. Service especially at reception is poor. Not all items on menu available. Nothing much to do at Diamond Harbour

The ambience is definitely good. The place is very hygienically maintained. The staff behaviour is average. The food quality should be improved in terms of price.
