Villa De 1945

Excellent place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. But unfortunately they don't have a restaurant and food has to be ordered from outside otherwise the staff are very friendly and courteous.

This is second visit in last three years. There is significant deterioration of quality. First visit had such a charm!
Rooms smell cigerrate smoke.
Bathroom was leaking from roof, when complained reception acted as if they are hearing it for the first time! It can only mean no one took that room in a long while, housekeeping did not visit or they lie to guests.
Hot water was not on tap.

Will I visit again, possibly no.
Do I recommend, no - unless you have nowhere else to stay at Mahe.

Ambience was good but the behaviour of the receptionist Sagar is very worst. Food is also average. Be careful with what you are ordering and better you sign what you order otherwise you may be charged for what not you ordered.

Very good looking place. Traditional looking building and posh looking rooms. Seems to serve only breakfast in their restaurant. Employees have been very cooperative.
Minor nuisances can be adjusted with.

Going by the looks this boutique hotel has a lot going for it, unfortunately there are couple of issues that needs to be fixed
Breakfast gets served only at 8:30 am , so if you are in a hurry to leave early morning this isn’t the best place to stay at. The breakfast especially the Kerala dishes weren’t tasty..
I stayed with my wife and kid here, the beds provided are 2 twin beds , so it gets very uncomfortable when you have more than 2 people in the room, so not the right option for families with kids

The resort has a homely vibe to it that we don't feel that we're in a flat or something. For malayalies I'll say it had a "manichithrathazh" vibe.
Wooden works , great rooms, bathrooms , good food , good service

Food is provided by them and has some varieties to it.

The villa is on a road side , so there is no great sceneries to look at.
In my personal opinion this place is great for family functions by the homely feel it gives.

Great place centrally located. Stayed here while attending my friend's wedding. The rooms in ground and first are grt with spacious balcony. The rooms in 2nd floor dont have balcony. Neat amd spacious rooms. The interiors in common area is nicely done. Overall highly recommend this place if the location suits you.

It is a boutique beautiful homestay, nothing like a hotel. The service and management is terrible! The location also is not very great, however the beauty of the hotel - like an old haveli make up for one night stay.
