Ginger Pondicherry

The rooms were pathetic for that price. We paid 5.5k for 2 rooms. You get amazing rooms for this price in Pondy. But we thought it's Ginger, the rooms would be really nice. The rooms looked like those of a typical lodge, with window ac.
The service was good. The staff were very friendly and understanding. I fell sick and they arranged the vehicle to go to the hospital immediately.

Average hotel to stay, price was little up. Breakfast menu had lot of options but taste wise not so good few items. We liked dosa, vada, puri sabji and coffee was also good. We booked very last minute maybe that’s why we got little above the standard price.

Stay here only if you don't get place on a foot path. I stayed since it was raining heavily. Horrible hotel. Smelly rooms, stained linen, TV doesn't work, leaking toilet ceiling, impaired flush. Only saving grace was the food.

The general state of the hotel is run down. Our room window was filthy to the point that we kept the blind down at all times so as not to see the dirt on the window.
The A/C in the room was not working and the bathroom towels were old.
The staff in general were friendly and helpful .

Overpriced for what they offer. Rooms are not clean, toilets, let’s not talk about it. Service is two star at best. Food in the restaurant was quite good though! Better look for some other property than this..

Very Small Rooms. Not worth for money. Priced too high as 5 star. But not even single star. I would never recommend it to anyone. You will find better hotels around for the lesser price.

Good location... outstanding service and hospitality... very small rooms and bed size...good place for business travellers... not recommended for family

Staffs are friendly and accommodated request for room change as we were looking for 3 rooms in sequence. Food was good. Slight high in budget for the kind of accommodation offered but it's well understood that this was a pick or beginning of pick travel.
