OK, the plates were very hot, which means that the products they were serving, I believe, were super frozen (who knows maybe days or months) and they were sent to the inside of the microwave.
There was no staff hospitality. I mean I’ve never seen a worst-case dining experience.

Location is great for getting to nearby sites. Back of hotel walks straight onto parade & beach. Staff very accommodating, rooms adequate need updating esp bathrooms (compared to Hyatt & InterContinental- not a fair comparison.) Restaurant/breakfast good choice, rooftop restaurant good bit pricey but would go again. Good ambience. Overall recommended

Loved the food, the view from the room was breathtaking. The seafood at the Rooftop restaurant The Bay of the Buddha is a must go. The spa experience was super relaxing. The staff is always smiling and very warm. The Beverage Manager Vinod was very cordial and helpful. Location wise the place is excellent. The place was worth every cent.

We had dinner here, The location is just perfect as we all were very hungry after the Rock beach visit. The food was awesome but the quantity was not appreciative and service was average, but was compensated by the taste. Some members of my family felt the price on higher side but the location and ambiance makes it worth.

It was an amazing stay with my family in The Promenade Hotel. I stayed in sea view suite and the location was spectacular. I have received great service from Housekeeping colleagues especially Housekeeping Manager Karthik who went beyond and helped me to explore about the city and made sure that our stay was comfortable.

Had a nice stay here, lovely view in sea-view room. Hotel staff were quick to help when we needed a change in room due to maintenance issue. Breakfast menu was good (especially French toast and cake of the day). Staff serving breakfast were super warm and friendly.

Here you get a very premium experience compared to other hotels in the location. Of course the price is also quite hefty to complement the same.
The views from the rooms are really great and you relax well. The service provided by them is also very good.
The food is good and the options are also wide spread over different cuisines. You have a pool too but it wasn't operational.
If you have the money just blindly go for it. 🙂

The location is very good making it easy to see the wonderful sights of Pondicherry.
The first room we were given was very loud. The A/C made it feel like we were in an airplane, which made sleeping very difficult.
We were kindly moved and the second room was much better. Overall the level of finish isn’t perfect, but the shower is good and it is clean.
The staff were friendly and helpful. We found the breakfast was plentiful and worth it.
