Rooms were good and staff was very helpful. But breakfast and dinner could be greatly improved from hygiene, punctuality and variety perspective. Location of the hotel is average.

The hotel is located exactly opposite the CRPF Battalion and one feels very safe. The staff is really very helpful and kind. Especially at the restaurant, Iqbal and the staff renders the best service and are very guest friendly. Rooms are not up to the mark. But one can understand the pandemic situation and the losses due to it.

I stayed at this hotel on my Kashmir tour with Kesari Tours in April 2022. This hotel is located around 500 mts from the main road and bang opposite the CRPF office.
The entire hotel was occupied by the Kesari Tours group. The rooms are spacious, clean and have generator back-up. It has rooms on three floors. Ground floor is the lobby, rooms are on the first, second and third floors. The dining area is on the fourth, i.e. top floor. The dining area is pretty small and is congested. Overall it was a decent stay with Akbar Inn. I have not mentioned about food as the Chef (Maharaj) was sourced by Kesari Tours.
