Clean and well maintained railway station. Line connecting to Nagapattinam, Needamangalam, Mayiladuthurai, Thanjavur.. walkable distance from Thiruvarur old bus stand. If you want taxi and auto rickshaw you may get outside. About 1km distance from Thiyagaraja swamy temple. Lot of hotels available for staying in Thiruvarur.

The railways station actually well maintained and very clean.

I tarvelled on 3rd august 2022with my mother n law age 70 in Mannai Express.
We requested wheelchair,
Very difficult to get wheelchairs,
There is no supporters to help to senior citizen. They have wheelchair free service booth. But there is no wheel chairs for senior citizen.
And no one there to help passanger.
They just for show only.
There is booth for helping to passanger. They have mention like
"May I Help You".
But that staff never helped and not even respond for our request.
Worst service in thiruvarur junction.

Pl ask station to remove that help booth. Useless one. They getting salary for nothing.. 😡.

Good railway station with all basic amenities.

The Karaikal to chennai train stops here for almost half an hour to change the engine.

Neat and clean railway station. Food Available inside railway station. Train available here from here to Nagapattinam, Chennai.

A well maintained small town railway station. Not too crowded.
