Big railway junction of South India. The station is huge and very clean and tidy. Food is available at a cheap price, stationarity like mineral water or biscuits can be obtained from small stalls.

One of important station where all trains halt for a reasonable time. This is station where the tracks diverge one towards Pondicherry the other towards the tirchy and down south of Tamilnadu. The station is equipped with amenities and ample food stalls. The station is thought but away from the bus stand, autos are available to Commute. The buses from Pondicherry halt just inform of station to catch the train. Few parking also available for short term parking. It’s also a good junction for train spotting

the junction is most biggest railway station between TPJ & Chennai. it connects Tiruvannamalai , katpadi and tirupati line. it connects Chennai and other north states. east side it connects to Puducherry and south side it connects TRICHY. the punctuality of staff really awesome. the cleaning is soo good on platform and all the station areas. working 24*7. provides a nice experience to traveling in trains.

Villupuram station is one of the main junction for connecting all trains to the south of India. It was very popular station and very much useful for nearby areas. It was cleanly maintained and parking area also very much big. Retiring rooms and rest rooms very neatly maintained. Wheel chair facility available at the entrance
