Perambur railway station one of the railway station for chennai like egmore and central. All Bangalore side trains go through this station no minimum amenities like water toilets drinking water but charging points and sitting benches available plenty. Opposite to railway station tea and tiffin idli vada are good and reasonable

Perambur Railway Station has frequent train services to Chennai Central,Tiruvallur and Arakkonam and trains to Chennai Beach,Velachery and Tiruttani are also available at selected timings! Some of the Trains like SANGHAMITHRA EXPRESS,MADURAI CHANDIGARH EXPRESS,ERNAKULAM PATNA EXPRESS,BNC AGARTALA HUMSAFAR and few other trains which bypasses Chennai Central will stop only at Perambur! The Station is very clean and well maintained! PERAMBUR❤

It has 4 platform. One subway from platform no.4. drinking water and seating available.neat and clean environment. Water vendor available for pure water.

Perambur railway station is neat,at the same time,the station sleeps after 10pm. Even shops around the station shuts exactly at 11pm.

Toilet of the station stinx. Lot of water leakage around mobile charging areas which make lionshare of the mobile charging point unusable.

Coach positions in platform number 2 is wrongly written,which make new travellers confused.

We can't even find a station master here. Coach positions of trains are not written anywhere.

A good police officer was there,who told us about coach postition and platform. Thanks for him

There is a Connectictine railway station going to North India, due to being small, there is also a crowd but facilities like hotel, ATM are available near the station.
The restroom facilities at this station are very unhappy.

The Perambur Railway Station Bus STOP is very worst. No cleaniness. No Seats to Seat in Bus Stop opposite to Hotel Sangeetha. The Auto Drivers are very much Money minded. Trying to get the RIDES with HUGE FARE. No Safety during early morning hours. No Patrol Rounds by Police. One of the worst Bus Stop I have seen is PERAMBUR RAILWAY station BUS STOP which is opposite to Hotel Sangeetha. Any action is well most welcome on the IMPROVEMENT.

A well known landmark in north Chennai. Developed a lot over the years but still need some clearance. Cleaners are doing a great job in maintaining the station clean but the authorities have to clear the pending work materials. It look dangerous with wires on the platforms.

Passengers are crossing the railway tracks without any fears, vendors taking their stocks on tracks, people have to be more responsible. Small shops are available serving water and foods, quite helpful. Waiting area is very spacious and good for passengers hide under the shade while waiting for train. Trains going past every 10-15 minutes. Southern railway parking is quite cheap and affordable for everyone.
