MTDC - Tarkarli Resort

We (me and my kid) stayed for two days on 30th sept and 1st October, though the property location is good but did not got any support from hospitality especially kitchen service..they literally said no to cook any menu dishes and said they will not make anything and will have to take which can be easily cooked and already in freezer.
Still we agreed and when the dish was on table it was half cooked and foul smell. Surprised as this was kinda of first experience in MTDC resorts.Never going back to this resort
And still on request they didn’t made and finally said they will cook only for party and group of people
P.S: there are better hygienic room and good food cheaper just next to resort.

Rooms are well furnished but poorly maintained with the Wardrobes, Drawers and Tables not being cleaned thoroughly.

The Garden & other amenities are not well kept. Also cheap soap & shampoo are provided in AC rooms with substantial tariffs.

The location is awesome as it is situated very close to the sea. Overall a good experience, but can be a lot better.

We stayed at the Konkani House Sunset View Room and We had a good stay. The vibe is really good there and the food is great too. There is no room service available. Also there are a lot of crows, cats and dogs around. The cleanliness is maintained and you get your own private space to stay and would like to add that the prices are overall high not only in MTDC but out of it as well.
We loved the ambience and the help that they provide regarding maybe renting a scooter or for backwaters etc and yes we also thought that the prices are high of the food, water bottle etc.

The location and area of the property is great. Rooms are well designed too and very spacious. You need to walk a lot from parking area to reception/rooms. The beach side shacks need renovation.
The restaurant is a disappointment as food quality is poor in taste and variety is missing.

The resort location is simply amazing. you just have to step out of your room and a lovely Tarkarli beach will welcome you.
The resort rooms are good but the premises are not that well maintained. The food here is also ok and one would get better food options in the nearby area.

Superb rooms and infra. Staff was very polite and helpful.
We stayed in the sunset view rooms. Others are just as nice and have the same access to the beach as each other.
Only things wanting are the spotty WiFi and the meals in the restaurant. I should mention that the breakfast options are great, and the restaurant staff is extremely nice and responsive. It's just that we ended up having lunches and dinners at Chintamani (across the road to the right) instead.
Will definitely stay there again.

Moderate amenities, very beautifully located on sea shore. Rooms are clean. Rest all like restaurant, service.. are not so good.
Value for money.

On our visit to Tarkarli we stayed at MTDC Tarkarli Resort which is located bang on the Tarkarli beach. For an MTDC resort the MTDC Tarkarli Resort is exceptionally well maintained and well kept property with really tasty food served at their in house restaurant (Coral Restaurant). The food quality and taste is very good. We stayed in the Konkani House AC room which is a spacious room and can accommodate 3 PPL comfortably. A huge thanks to the entire team of the resort for a fantastic and relaxing stay. Keep up the great work👍👍
