Fishermen Village Resort

I am not sure why people have rated this place as 5/5. In many reviews I have also read that the food is awesome but it is actually very bad. Let me review all the aspects of this resort as below:

1. Food(1/5) : Food was very oily and expensive.
2. Service(1/5) : Food and room service was equally bad. They used to take ages to bring the items ordered. I tried calling the room service number(11) multiple times but no one bothered to pick it up.
3. Location(4/5) : I think they have thought of a unique concept where they have created a artificial lake, built a seating area in the middle on the lake and also the rooms are facing the lake which also gives a great experience.
4. Maintenance(0/5) : Rightly said in some other review, they have built the place and no one is looking after it. Rooms are not very clean especially the washrooms. On the day of the checkout the geyser was non functional and there was no water in the washroom but as I said above no one even picked up the call for room service.
5. Pool(3/5) : Pool is very huge so even if the resort is to full capacity you get enough place to enjoy the pool. Again here there is no maintenance at all. There is so much dirt and insects in the pool which made the experience less pleasurable.

I generally don't give a 5 star review easily. At the start i was a bit disappointed as there was no water and then the room room time to cool. But after couple of hours i really started enjoying the trip. The food is a tad expensive. But the quantity is good. Try the fish platter. For a family of 5-6 it's a hit. Also the Desi chicken gravy is a must try. Breakfast is complimentary and it's a decent affair. The resort was full. Yet we had enough place in the pool. Boating was fun as you have to row the boat yourself. All and all it was a wonderful stay

Nice place to make a one day trip. Enjoy the ambience and have good food. Sea foods are excellent. Swimming and boating are only activities here. If you are driving your own car, then visit the nearby beach and temple. To be very Frank, the best option is to come by train and relax here.

A splendid resort for weekend getaway with family and friends. Rooms are a little cramped. Seafood served is awesome and mouthwatering. Value for money platters. Service is a little slow and staff is scarce. Swimming pool is huge but not as clean as one would desire. DJ is cool. Boating available with life jackets.

It is a great spacious property. Swimming pool is quite big and is functional till 8pm.
They having boating which brings out the beauty of the resort in evening. Beautiful and peaceful stay for couples, friends and families. Only the food is average as per the pricing.

Good place to visit for stay. Swimming pool is very clean as compared to all resorts. Staff is very co operative and helpful. Rooms are also good. Food is also delicious. Indoor game needs to be added.

This place is very peaceful. It will uplift your mood. This is the place to go to if you want to forget your work for a day. You have to pay 7000 for a night stay with an accommodation of 5 ppl. If you have a bigger group you can inquire about it. This also includes next morning breakfast. For Lunch and dinner you have a menu in rooms so you can order it. No outside food is allowed.
