Shangrilas Beach Resort

We stayed in their road side property not the beach side one.(although our agent said we are put up at the beach side one - I guess this is a lie travel agents usually say) it had huge rooms - Very classy looking rooms. For the price good value. Breakfast was just ok. They cook it in their other property and bring it over. Staff were rather unresponsive. We did not eat there but went out to nearby restaurants as our agent advised against eating there.

It's was an amazing experience staying there,
My friend recommended me to stay here as it come with its own beach which is fabulous. That white sand beach is just amazing, I spent great time there with my friends.

i enjoy the sunrise just opposit of my cottage. the beach area adjacent is beautiful. any one can enjoy it in the morning observing sunrise and in the noon playing with waves and in the night enjoying dinner at beach
quality of food served to the guest required some improvement.

Dinner date for our 5th wedding anniversary was planned by them. Good execution. Great service. Food was amazing. We had a few options to choose from for each course of the meal. Well prepared food, particular the chillie prawns and butter chicken. Only the thing I would like to suggest is that the music should be very soft or no music at all as sitting by the beach we expect to hear the sound of waves. Other thing I would like to add here is that please try and give some privacy for each couple, please try to modify the setup of each date table. Excellent staff and lovely service. Enjoyed the view and food.

Experienced a very pleasant stay. We stayed at the road side hotel rooms. Rooms were huge and neat & clean. The location of the property is just opposite to a beach that makes it more beautiful.
The property has its own beach.
Though the room service is bit slow but that is manageable. Food is also great with very reasonable prices. Friendly staff and pleasant ambience.
Highly recommend for a stay in Havelock.

The Deluxe rooms at Sangrilas are the best. Neat Clean and well maintained room with all the facilities you need. Spacious room with attached bathroom and Smart TV facility. Even though Wi-Fi is there the speed may be a problem for the Smart TV.

Go for the Beach side cottage only after checking the condition of the same. The cottage is not in a private compound. Not even fenced properly. Doesn't feel secure in that cottage at all. Really not recommended for couples. Just go for the Deluxe rooms.

Rooms are good enough, well maintained
but service is poor.
Had to call several times to provide drinking water.
Food is tasty but costly and quantity is less as the price of food.
location is good can access beach just behind the resort.
Scooty rental is available in the resort.

Except spacious rooms nothing is good at this hotel, I stayed from 27 to 30 Dec 2022.
Service very poor. No Hot water available, reason no power, you have generator use it.
Even sometimes intercom wont work reason no power, it consumes 200-300 watts use Generator. In description they say it seaside but they have 2 properties only one on seaside and other opposite to road. Very poor service it takes half hour to deliver water bottle, more than one hour to deliver food.
