Balrampur hotel in nainital is not just a hotel but a haritage building with a great historical past. Must visit to this restaurant. U just feel the richness. The retro look take you in the past.

The property is good .their staff is very good but the manager..I saw two of them, the younger one is very rude he is not at all trained...management pls train him a bit...and one more thing the bathroom of 1 room was smelling very very bad.. .the food was good but quantity is very small...property and staff is very good leaving the manager.....

Wonderful place, calm, quiet. Very hospitable and discreet staff.. lovely stay. Surrounded by nature. Heritage Place. Will surely come back.

Very good hotel. Its actually mahal. Well maintained room. Very polite staff and food was good. Best location to stay away from mall road crowd but still very near by Lake.

Im in love with this property,it's luxurious.. I know mountains is not for luxury it's for adventure but still I say, must stay for atleast one night , their buffet is also superb,less spices different varieties, Services is also so fast ,all staff is very sweet

We had gone to Balrampur House expecting to enjoying a few days of peace and solitude. But they had let out their lawn for marriage functions . The loud music and hordes of marriage attendees shattered our peace of mind. It's very unethical of them to host functions while there are guests in the hotel. It completely destroys the experience we were looking forward to

Hotel and Surrounding: 5 star Manager behaviour: 0 star
Balrampur House is no doubt one of the heritage buildings in the locality, showcasing the beautiful architecture of the old times. With the backdrop of Cheena Peak, it truly is a treat to the eyes.
The rooms have all the facilities that you expect from a 3 star hotel: whether it be heated beds, electric Kettle and what not. The service is also quite great.
We have had multiple family functions in the Balrampur house estate, and while the functions went great both the times, the manager's behaviour is something that truly ruins the beauty of the place. Being in the hospitality business, one expects the customers to be treated the top priority but that's just the opposite of what the manager shows. Both the events we have organised, we faced total hostility from the manager as if he's looking for a total fight breakout.
I've been trying to find the contact details of the owner so the behaviour could be reported but as the manager didn't agree to provide that, writing a review is the only way I found worth taking.
P.s. if the management is reading this, I hope you'll undergo some counseling for the manager as the behaviour I truly not in par with the standards of the estate.
