The hotel is situated on upper mall road which is near to main mall road. The rooms are bathrooms are of good space and clean. I stayed with my friends there and loved the hospitality displayed by the staff. Wifi is of high speed you can do your office work easily. The food is tasty, the ambiance is good, the rooms are well decorated and well maintained. I would recommend to stay here. Very peaceful area away from busy street.

I stayed with my family here and the ambiance is very good for family and friends. The staff is polite and supportive. Rooms are good and have nice interior. There is good lake and mountain view from the balcony. The location is the best for peace lovers. Mall road is around 300 meters away from here.

Amazing experience staying at Ekam Lodge. Staff is nice and well mannered. It is on zoo road and mall road is close you can walk to mall road. At the time of check in we found rooms and bathrooms very clean and hygienic. Wifi works fine and food is delicious. Will soon visit again.

The rooms were good for the price. Location is up the zoo road, taliatal so it's little hard to walk up every time from mall road. Thankfully there are local cars that can be hired to take u to the top. Food i would recommend from mall road or restaurant on the way to mall road. Rooms were clean, essentials were provided and little interference. The lake is visible from the balcony.

Pros: Nice Breakfast Cons: Small and smelly rooms. Smelly washroom, water flow very slow, no water in the flush. Torn bedsheets. Poor staff service : Did not get anything unless asked for it.(water,towels, toiletries). Location: 500 meter walking on steep slope from tallital main road.
Summary: This hotel is not worth the money they are charging

The rooms are fine but they have a bad odor. Overall the hotel is built just above a sewer system so the odour is terrible . Also the water they provide at the place is unhygienic and I got jaundice just because of it. Very poor experience.

This place is located in the upper Tallital area and you will have to walk uphill to reach this location. There are two routes(shorter, steep, has stairs) and longer(longer and comparatively less steep), it's advisable to take the longer road route, cars can also go here. And because of the height this place is located in, it gives a beautiful view of the city, lake and the hills. The caretakers are nice and polite and they do in house cooking, the food provided here is homely and fresh and can be customized according to your needs. However, overall service can be improved upon. I stayed here in the family delux room which has a double bed in the attic as well so 4-5 people can easily stay in this room. Overall cleanliness can be improved upon as the attic was dusty. Cab facility is also available here but we didn't make use of it so can't comment on that. Overall it was a pleasant stay in Ekam Logde.
P.S.- Nainital zoo is quite close to this place, walkable distance. And the road to Snow View point also goes from this area.

The rooms were good no doubt. All the amenities were provided but we couldn’t use them, the electricity is bad, the employees do not wish to help too, upon telling them that we were having issues with the room they simply told us it’s not their responsibility????? We had a 5 day stay and it was very uncomfortable. The staff is very rude and unhelpful. It is located at a comparatively high altitude than the Mall Road , it’s a walk of 15 mins on a steep road to the hotel from the Mall Road. They do not have any parking spaces also. Sometimes you get food and sometimes you don’t. Sometimes things aren’t even available, there’s no proper menu for you to look at the prices even, on top of that they’re rude. We stayed for almost 4 days and not even once I had the chance to order food in the property we had to walk down everyday and figure it out ourselves, we hadn’t been told anything about how to place an order or anything at all, whenever asked if we could order anything, they’d tell us they can’t or won’t be cooking. It was a really bad stay overall. The staff isn’t willing to cooperate at all, upon asking if we could check out at 11:30 (the check out time is 11) due to a work related emergency, they handled the situation very poorly, simple rude and lied to us about booking where as online I could clearly see rooms being available to book? Keeping that aside our situation was dealt with very unprofessionally.
