These guys are at the top of their game. My wife and I have been touring india from the UK for just over two weeks and have frequented no less than 6 hotels thus far.
No desrespect to the other but this place and its team wipe the floor.

Welcome - felt like we’ve arrive home
Room - spotless, amenities all in place and towels soft and fluffy

Food - Restaurant service impeccable and food delicious.

Well done guys, team work really does work wonders.

The property which is claimed as 4 star rating is highly overpriced and in no way looks like is a star-rated property. There was neither a glasshouse nor it’s by the side of Ganges. The original site is now with the Taj Group, we came to know. Hotel has even put up a big disclaimer that guests going to the Ganges, which is pretty far away from the property, are not the responsibility of the Hotel!
The entrance is on the highway with no parking with in the premises. The Cars are parked on the roadside. Property is pretty old and located on a rock face at multiple levels with hundreds of steps cut out of the rocks. Earlier owners Himalayan Retreat or something like that had clearly forewarned about this on their website - I’m told- but Neemrana didn’t care for any such thing. The only saving grace is the food which was just ok and the polite staff. No other activity. High Tea is very basic. No cookies or fruits in the rooms despite charging Rs. 12000 plus for a night. There was no water, no internal telephone and Internet services during the night. Water was though provided promptly in buckets for toilet and bathing by the staff in this 4 star property!

Cozy little place with warm welcoming staff. Place has informal ways of hosting that makes you totally at home.
Food is good and chef is eager to do out of menu items as well.

Amazing location just at the Badrinath highway and a short trekking for river ganges. Beach is quite isolated perfect for peace lovers. U can also see rafting. Property has very good cottages. All amenities like dip tea , geaser, heater , TV, towels, brush , toilet papers, soaps available, u just don't need to worry anything. Evening high tea they serve masala tea and snacks. Dinner was amazing with bonfire . They do candle light dinner which u can have in open area while listening the Ganges flow. They have many open sitting areas where u can sit and relax. Parking also available at road side.Staff is very courteous. Chef is very good. Definitely a 5 star property and must visit for peace lovers. Not very far from Delhi

Wish I can give less than one start.
We, family of four (two kids) stayed in Aug-2022 and it was completely disappointment and ruined our vacation mood.
First of all, do not get fool by name “Glasshouse”. Its original name was Himalayan Hideaway. Original “Glasshouse” is now Anand Kashi. As such, its Black & White differences by name “Glasshouse”
It was way over price for what this “Nimrana’s Glasshouse” offering as part of your stay and food. Its not even 2 star capable and not sure how it got 4 start ratings. Website pictures are fooling you. Resort entry is completely disappointment and path is so uneven and unsuitable not only for adult but challenging for young adults too. Reception desk small glass hut and check in is via entering details in paper register, which class of hotel have such thing these days.
We stayed in suits with bunk bed, but this room is no way larger than regular room except small addition to the corner of room for adding bunk bed. Room is so cramp, and bathroom is completely obscure. Due to wilderness, we may accept some insect, but this was not clean and secure at all. Upon entering, we felt like camera thin above TV and when tried to investigate, there was lizard came from back of TV and went in to AC unit. That scared us as we had bunk bed and near to top bed, there were big opening/hall in the wall. After seeing lizard and suck opening, how secure you may feel. On top of that, fire extinguisher was in room but it was below red line pressure and last inspection was years old. There were frequent power outage and no safe feel at all. Literally, if it was not raining and early on day, we could have forgot our money and left the property. Outside of room was so scary and so afraid to go around the room except straight to walking path. Room description to all the room type is misleading and you can not see anything other than trees, may be mountain from higher elevation balcony. Bathroom was complete joke and ‘DHARAMSHALA” bathroom would be better. See picture.
There is no official parking space for your valuable car and basically you are parking on side of busy highway.
Resort restaurant is complete joke, especially when classified as 4 start. May be okay for lodge or “DHRAMSHALA”. There is no kitchen attached to the restaurant sitting area and staff bringing food from nearby kitchen, even not properly covered. Food is over prices and crockery is from 18th century without hygiene process. Again, food is not included and its way over price. Breakfast is just okay but again not properly cleaning practices and service standard. Although we ate breakfast at restaurant, we skipped "FREE' high tea.

Although it so called “River access”, you have to be expert hiker to go to Ganga and come back. Basically you are leaving resort property and you are your own. Lots of wash out track and very risky track. Last part before Ganga is literally jumping on beach. There is no desk or hotel staff to provide any service and no cell phone coverage. You are your own!

Only good part of this resort is staff. They seems underpaid but still bringing smile on their face and try to make your stay enjoyable. Of course they were lack of training and proper hygiene practices.

We spend three nights in that hotel. Positive things first: excellent and nice personnel - really friendly contact, good athmosphere in hotel generally, excellent restaurant with reasonable pricing. Nice location, clean room with nice view. To improve: faclities are not at level what you could expect with that money (30-40% overpriced), there are some construction works ongoing here and there on the hotel area - like there was concrete stair demolishing work ongoing next to our room. Aftet request work was stopped, but to have a ruins next to door while paying 16 000 Inr for a night is not what you are expecting. Honestly to say - We were shocked in the first phase. Even the rooms were clean, specially bathrooms needs updates to meet the price level. When the construction works are done, hotel can be recommended - even the price is very high compared to room standard

Good food, spacious room with big balcony, pet friendly, river was 10 mins steep climb downwards which we were able to do with our dog. We enjoyed ourselves as we didn't need to leave the hotel as we had our dog with us. We spent 2 nights and 3 days here and enjoyed being outdoors near the river or in the balcony mostly.

We recently stayed at the Neemrana Glass House on the Ganges, as we had greatly enjoyed a stay at the Glasshouse some 10 years ago. As it turned out, the location has since changed. With the change, the quality of the accommodation has sadly gone down. Where the hotel claims to be a four-star experience, the rooms were quite disappointing. Our ground-floor apartment had a damp smell, and the bathroom looked unfinished. When showering, the bathroom floor also flooded.

For some reason, the hotel has external speakers spread over the property playing rather loud and intrusive music. If you, like me, go to the mountains to get away from the noise of the city, you want to experience the peace and quiet that the area has to offer. The location of the hotel is beautiful: the nature is fantastic, and there is a path down to the river Ganga which gives beautiful views and the whole area down near the water feels very peaceful. The winding path to the river is sadly not very well maintained, and the hotel actually has a sign stating that using the path is at guests’ own peril. It seems odd that a hotel which promotes to being on the banks of the river doesn’t actually offer a safe way to visit that very river.

There were some really good sides to our stay here though. The hotel restaurant serves really nice food, we were welcomed on the terrace area with a drink, and at night there’s a bonfire in a fire pit. We also appreciated the effort put in the amenities kit, by avoiding plastics (wooden toothbrush, paper packaging, paper laundry bags etc).

Where the hotel did best was the friendliness of the staff and the hotel manager - they truly made us feel very welcome. The staff at the hotel is very friendly, and I felt that the only 4-star part of the hotel was the service from the staff.

If the Neemrana invests in fixing their bungalows (please get an interior designer to fix the 'rustic' but tired look) and focuses on what its strengths are (the nature, keeping the sustainability up and keep serving great food with great service), we would be very happy to come back here. Sadly the current state of the rooms makes me not want to go repeat my visit - and I feel that your staff deserves better than this.
