Hotel Royal Stay

The hotel is really good and is value for money for your stay in Katra. Although it is a bit in the interior but easily accessible for autos and taxis. They also have their own parking space in case you are traveling by your own car.

Hotel is at walking distance from bus stand & main market..., It was a nice experience ...Early checked in available at 7AM as requested .....Breakfast was well served at restaurant on top....pick up and drop services provided as reasonable rates.....Amenities are well maintained as mentioned....for me and my family it was worth to stay ...Thank u for ur services 🙏

Well we just stayed 2nights. We were did not had food there we took there rooms ..rooms were looking cleaned but was not cleaned as you know evry hotel remains. We asked to Changed the bed sheet and other stuff so staff changed so we were happy . We went for vaishno devi darshan came fully tired . We ask reception to give more time up to 2 pm for Little rest we pay more money and they allowed .

Room is too small, staff behaviour is not good, Ac not working in room, blanket cover is damage you can see in image.. Complimentry breakfast is not given only shows in hotel image, they have given only chola puri... Only shows is image hotel is good but worst of money...

Hotel is new having beautiful and cleaned rooms. Location is little narrow lane but accessible by car and auto otherwise great hotel to stay.

- I would not recommend this hotel although I went there with somebody’s reference .

Reason -
1- Hotel staff was not at all polite.
2- We were denied to have extra blanket and later on after requesting we got the blanket.
3- We had booked 3 rooms and in all the three rooms There were no , dental kit , no tea bags, no milk powder and no sugar. On asking for same - the hotel guy from the kitchen asks -“ we dont provide this , and how will you make tea in room ?” I think they forgot they have kettles in room.

For a customer the only thing that matters is a little politeness and Generosity which was not there. I took my parents there and they were so unhappy with the services.

According to hotel staff It’s a religious place which actually is … There were boys who were playing loud music in the middle of night inside the hotel , screaming and nobody from hotel staff bothered to shut them up - “ I think hotel policies all over the world does not have these rules right ?” …??? Which owner would definitely defend under my comment.
I approximately paid 3500 per day for three rooms for 2 night, which I felt is not worth for the services given to us.

On my recent visit to Katra, was with my family and had one of the worst staying experience in this hotel. Had paid an amount of Rs 3000+ after discounts per night for a room as tariffs, it was not at all worth it. There were a series of problems contributing to that-

-Communication gap bw owner and the staff, as a result, customer has to bear all ghe troubles and no one is sympathetic about the same.
-some necessary services like water bottles, tea or coffee sachet were not there in the room
-Not very pleasant vibe from the staff. They were behaving as if they were doing any favor
-Locality is the worst part. In a narrow alley, no peace even during the midnight.
-No discipline in the hotel. There were stag guests in the hotel and they were shouting, playing loud music in the common area, irrespective of time and irrespective of that other families staying in the same hotel. No staff intervened and no one tried to maintain a decent atmosphere in the hotel.

I and my wife took our parents to Vaishno Devi so that they can have a good experience. But the hotel part made a big mess of it. Wont recommend anyone.
There are many better hotels at the same rate on the main road, i suggest you to go for those.

The location is deep inside a narrow and dirty bi-lane. The hotel interior is okay though. There is a elevator which is quite useful for accessing higher floors. The room (Super Deluxe) was clean but the towels were not. Amenities in the room were basic and average in quality but the bathroom was quite large and fitted with modern and branded facilities. All the noises from the narrow but busy bi lane were coming inside the room despite closed windows. The staff were polite and responsive calls and requests. On request they dropped us to Banganga check post at night but charged Rs. 200 for it.
Overall, given the price level, the experience could have been better.
