OYO 5403 Hotel Affarwat

Rooms were awesome, staffs were very punctual and professional. The location is mind blowing, area is surrounded by ice all over. The view will definitely keep your eyes open. They provide best food in that area, you can order items at your will here.

Awesome place to stay in Gulmarg. We went here in March 1st week and entire surroundings were covered in snow. The hotel has nice and cozy rooms, wooden interiors, good staff and they serve delicious food as well. The lobby area and corridors are also equipped with blowers and heaters. I was in contact with Mr. Sajjad and he sent a cab to Srinagar airport to pick us up and drop at hotel. The staff is really courteous and they are just a call away. The rooms have electric bed heaters and room heaters which keep you warm in sub zero temperatures. Also, there is 24/7 supply of hot water in rooms. We will definitely consider this hotel for stay again when we visit Gulmarg in future.

Everything was best...just few cons/complaints-

1. They where not providing lunch coz roza was there of everyone..we say many guests requesting to make Maggie for them as they were famished...

2. Though we went in April and it was 3-4 degrees in night and 10 degrees in daytime...for people coming from outside Kashmir..10 degrees is also quite cold and the heater is controlled centrally and switched on after 7.30 in the night which I guess should be shifted to individual room controlled as we were wearing multiple clothes to to stay warm.

Rest all the excellent..view is breathtaking!! Hotel service is also good.

Good place to stay in GULMARG with a good taste of good and descent staff. Food is very delicious and a special thanks to Nasirbhai for a special attention to us. Had a memorable time in GULMARG.

Great stay, the views from the valley facing room is beautiful but the other side is terrible, so ensure what room you're getting for the money. The rooms are decent and ornate in style with wood and electric heaters and blankets for winter. Food was decent though it takes some time to get it.

This place offers a stunning view and we had an amazing stay at Affarwat. The staffs were friendly and the rooms were spacious. They had centralised heater in the room which was decent. Hot water is available. Food is exceptional and the hospitality is amazing. Definitely recommend this place for your stay at Gulmarg

Awesome place to stay. Wooden furnishings, centralized heating, electric blankets, ultra clean washrooms, fantastic views of the valley, neat and tidy carpeted rooms, What more do you want?
1 star: Ultra clean washrooms (most important while choosing hotels)
1 star: Proper heating system necessary for such cold temperatures (we stayed there at -12℃ in December 2021 but inside the hotel was completely warm due to ambient heating facilities in rooms and even in corridors)
1 star: The main market is only 5min walk. Close to the shopping hub.
1 star: THE VIEW. My God THE VIEW!!!!
0.5 star: Good Food. Good life! (We suggest taking package inclusive of breakfast and dinner. They have a good spread for dinner tbh)

Just a small con:
In one if the rooms, the flush of the toilet wasn't working for some reason. Bit more friendly staff would be icing on the cake.
