This guesthouse is probably the best, by far, that we have stayed in. Firstly the owner is incredible. He is friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful with everything from recommending where to eat to local tourist attractions to tips about Delhi - he goes above and beyond and our time in Delhi would not have been as enjoyable without meeting him. He took the time to speak with us and this meant a lot. The staff too are brilliant and very kind and accommodating. The room we stayed in was clean, spacious, comfortable bed and had a nice bathroom. There was good AC and a fan which was needed for 2 very sweaty tourists. The area itself is lovely, and we always felt safe walking around it. It is also not far from the GK metro station (less than 15min walk). I cannot recommend highly enough this guesthouse and when we return to India, we will be sure to definitely stay again. 100% recommend!!

I had a lovely stay at Tatvamasi Homestay during my recent trip to New Delhi. Pankaj and team are good and hospitable hosts who ensure that your stay is not only comfortable but also go beyond to meet your needs and requirements. I would definitely recommend anyone visiting New Delhi to consider Tatvamasi.

Thank you for our great stay! Room was great, very spacious. The owner helped us find the restaurants and shops. Helped us book a private taxi to the Taj Mahal and brought us to a good breakfast place. In a city like Delhi as a foreigner, a place where somebody loves to help you is a great way to enhance your experience of the city. Because Delhi can be quit overwhelming at times. We felt very welcome at Tatvamasi and places like this are rare to find. Will recommend this stay to anybody going to Delhi for a visit.

I wish I could rate this place even higher. Pankaj is such a kind, friendly, and hospitable host. Always making time to show around the neighbourhood, take us out to street food markets, and give advice on how best to enjoy Delhi!
The location is quiet, which is a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, but also close to the metro should you wish to travel in.
Definitely recommend staying here to anyone travelling across India.

We booked this homestay relying on the great reviews of other guests, and it turned out great! Pankaj is a very hospitable owner, he organized the rooms in a very high standard, one of the best places we stayed at in India. It is simple, yet has everything you need for the stay. And it is very clean! It is an upscale neighborhood of Delhi with plenty of nice cafes around. You will enjoy!

The previous reviews say it all. The host was wonderful with us and very very kind, he gave us some recommendations for restaurants in the area which were great (tasty and clean) and even drove us and pick us up from one of the restaurants on our first night as it was a bit late so we didn't have to walk the long way back home at night. The area is not the most touristy but very safe, which is exactly what we wanted. The place was clean and room was great, water pressure in the shower was not the best and the bed a bit too hard for our taste but in any case not a problem at all. Will stay there again if we're coming back to Delhi!

If you’re coming to Delhi, please do yourself a favor and stay at Tatvamasi.
From the moment you check in you see how good this place is.
They provide all the clean towels and linen you need, the rooms are nice and spacious, and everything is extremely clean.
Pankaj, the owner and manager, goes out of his way to help the guests and give them the best experience possible. The rest of the staff is very kind and helpful as well.
I was meant to stay in Delhi for 3 nights and ended up staying 2+ weeks, and never even thought of changing accommodations because of how nice the guesthouse is (shoutout to Pankaj who made it possible for me to stay there even though I kept changing my mind about leaving Delhi or not).
The location is great too. Very safe and close to a market.
On top of this, this place has the ability to attract really nice people so if you’re lucky like me, you’ll be able to make friends too!

Highly recommend! The reviews are true. This homestay is incredible, you have everything you need, it is well kept and clean. The beds are also comfortable and the location is perfect. It is located in a safe and quiet neighbourhood and just minutes away from really great restaurants :)
