Le Méridien Goa, Calangute

Got spa in Le Meridian few days back. Therapists were great and professional, but the feel of luxury was nowhere. Since it’s 5 star property, expectations are little higher at this much higher price point. The price didn’t justify the worth.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel.
The rooms were spacious and cleaning etc was good.
The Breakfast was very good with lots of varieties and the service by Jacin and Kamran was excellent.

The hotel was mostly occupied by Families and it was a very good family type of environment. Nice to see children and elders enjoying in the pool.

Rooms are fine but staff is not helpful. Before booking there are different rules and when you reach the hotel rules change. Near to market place and beach, the only good thing is the rooms but only if the service were good. It would have been a great stay

Nice Hotel in a very busy location. Not for people who want to spend all day at the beach, but if you're in Goa for tourism and want a nice comfy hotel, this is a good place.

They have a beautiful library and a lovely swimming pool, though we were disappointed to see people jumping in without a shower in their regular day clothes, but I find this becoming quite common these days.

Food is good. The buffet breakfast had the freshest ever collection of fruits. Rooms are nice and plush, the decor theme was very beautiful too.

Overall it was good, but NOT worth $175 per night. The Rooms had some patch work which were clearly visible and did not give a 5 Star Vibe.
The lift and Lift Lobby had a Funny Smell.
The Staff were very helpful and had good conversation with me. The Breakfast Spread was nice.

North Goa location off the main road, with a 10min walk to the beach. Hotel has decent amenities, including pool, gym, game room, and bike rental. Ashley, the Manager on Duty was customer service oriented and did great service recovery when the chauffeur couldn't arrive on time due to traffic for airport pick-up. Service in the restaurant is not on par with five star hotels. Food variety for the buffet is great, but quality could be improved.

We came here from a subpar hotel experience and found this hotel much improved. They do overcharge for the taxi service provided by the hotel as well as have poor recommendations for beaches for tourists. One beach was perfect the other was one that no one could even swim at because it had so many rocks. It also was the farthest away. It was extremely disappointing. They also had varying charges for their hotel taxi depending on when I called which was very frustrating. They tried to make up for it by providing a “I’m sorry” dessert and drink with the manager. This was a nice surprise. We could tell they were making a good effort to improve our stay.

The pool was cold, but it was nice on the hot day. The drinks from the poolside bar were delicious!

For a 5-stat hotel this was okay. We would think about staying here again. The room was nice. We could smell smoke in the hallway. The hallway looks a little rough on the carpeted area. The view from our room was beautiful!

The food for breakfast was okay. The dinner buffet starts very late and the food was okay. They were very kind and let us eat a bit earlier.

Incredible place. Would come back here in a heartbeat. The services are amazing - you don’t even need to leave the resort. Games room, beautiful pool and lounging area, little bar with appetisers, gym, free bicycles to roam the streets, delicious room service. This is what you call a 5 star hotel. The chefs in the restaurant are very talented also.
