OYO The Goan Courtyard

One of the best budget friendly best hotels in South Goa close to colvin beach. Although it’s slightly interior from the main road, rooms will make you feel comfortable. Service, and the manager is too good. Friendly and quick in action.

No breakfast, they have only wifi and good clean AC rooms. Entrance will be awkward but the rest is fine. Enjoy your stay!

Be aware, couple friendly hotel too.

I would not recommend this hotel at all.
Need to take serious action on cleaning.

I stayed for 2 days and on both days there is no water in the morning. Every time I have to walk down to reception. Owner talks a lot about hotel like he is maintaining hotel with all great facilities, which is not true.

They give you rooms at very cheap rate but not very much clean. Back entry is surrounded by lots of garbage. Water issue most of the time. Water leaking from AC. Wifi doesn't work. Need to park vehicle at your own risk out of property gate.

The location is very much inside from main road and no transport option available.
Only own car or bike else private rikshaw or car will charge huge amount.

The owner asked for extra money for additional mattress even though we have booked in advance for extra person.

The booking was for 2 days. But cleaning was not done after first night ( second day).

Hospitality is worst as they even not serving the tea and water. Even after Hotel setup is available).
Water bottle cost at 30.

It is not good for family and will never recommend.

The rooms are of decent size, there was a small balcony, the service folks helped arrange for cab/rental and other stuff.

But the towels they provided all stinked. The faucet was broken, multiple switches didn't work. Water is charged at 30rs per bottle.

The staff at counter was very unhelpful and was talking if he is doing obligation for giving me a room. He did not allow to see the room until paid in full. No room service . Asked for water and it did not reach ever. The location of the property is very very far from main beach and market. Only if u have a car then take this property. You won't even get cab from beach to hotel after 8pm. The booking told complementery breakfast but reception guy refused for it stating that they don't have kitchen. Strange.nOverall highly dissatisfactory stay. Will never recommend.

This was the nightmare for me.

Despite booking in advance and making payment in advance for three days, hotel manager denied checkin saying that rooms are already given to western clients.

While we were there, there were three more customers who had been fooled like us. Worst experience ever. Imagine you go with your family, luggage and such bad experience happens.

Neither Agoda or Hotel manager responded on this. Agoda keeps on taking booking for this Hotel, despite knowing the fact that they loot people.

Save yourself!

I had a confirmed booking but the guy didn't allow me. He said that the rooms are full. He said this to another foreigner as well who had already booked and paid the money and was totally frustrated. They didn't even care that I have came with a small baby and wife standing outside for hours. I was forced to go out and search for another room and hence my goa trip was a bad experience. I request everyone not to come to Goa because these people don't care.
