Vinsons Cottages

Hotel is located near to the beach in a quiet place. Rooms are clean and very beautifully maintained. Washrooms are clean. The best part is their restaurant which serves excellent food.

Only downside is that they don't have any service staff available after 8pm.
Quiet environment, good food, and safe.

According to the budget, room is good, location is good. Blanket in the room is of very bad quality and towels are worn out. They should provide mosquito net as there are mosquitoes in the room. Sometimes dog bark in the night. They give only 1 bottle in a day and rest u have to pay for water. Parking space is there and another good thing is one restaurant &bar near to cottage provide lunch and dinner at reasonable rate.

Staff is very friendly..they will arrange you bike rentals. Rooms are okay. I stayed Here for two days. Geyser is solar controlled. So no sun, no hot water. Couple friendly

We stayed here for 7 nights in a Non-AC room because of the beautiful view it has.I will share my reviews in a few points.

Positive :

3) Friendly Security Guard & Receptionist
4) Cute Dog 🐕
5) Clothing Drying Stand
6) Free Parking Space
7) Tasty & Pocket friendly Food available in Trisara Restruant
8) Breakfast available but not so good.
9) Online Food Order via Zomato, Swiggy accepted

Negative :
1) Too many MOSQUITOES 🦟 (Biggest Issue of this property) (Mosquito repellents doesn't work at all)

2) Free drinking water not given daily

3) Rooms are only cleaned if asked

4) Low voltage all the time (Slow Fan & Dim Light)

5) Frequent Power Cuts

I should give 1 start because of mosquito problems only, because we couldn't sleep well every night but we managed only because of the Budget and Natural Environment.

According to the budget, the room is good, the location is good near the Beach. Blanket in the room is of very bad quality and towels are worn out. They should provide mosquito net as there are mosquitoes in the room. Sometimes dog bark in the night which is a bit annoying.

Trisara Restaurant is reasonable and also the extra charge on the Drinks is just slightly high which is Okay.

Hotel per day cost was more if you compare the cleanliness and size of thr room. We found one cockroach in the morning, but that is okay I think. I saw, it generally cost Rs. 900-1000 but we end up paying Rs. 1700 for the same. Towels were okay condition, not white regulat towel. No electric kettle, blanket was thin and not the hygienic.

It was near to beach. Restaurant within the same cottage area was awesome.

It's very nice place to stay, nothing fancy but still charming.Very peaceful place, you can literally hear birds chirping and all natural sounds. I just loved it here.
No one disturbes you. Guard sir is very friendly n greets you whenever you meet him with a smiling face. I would have extended my stay but it was already booked.

Vinsons Cottage has a good location, the room was clean including the toilets, towels and blankets could have been better, overall a pleasant stay. Beach is walkable from cottages.
