Filcon Resort

It is recently constructed property. The rooms are very good. The bathrooms are clean. Ample parking space.
500 meters walking distance from the beach.

Excellent hotel. Very near to beach. In fact it takes only around 5 - 8 minutes to reach the beach from hotel. The rooms were very neat and clean. And the manager Steven was also very helpful. Definitely recommended.

Good place to stay, but rude staff Steve diplomatically rejects all your requests . Manupulates and he wants to fill bad rooms 1st.

We had a pleasant stay in this room at Filcon Resort. It is 5 mins walking distance from Patnem beach. Ample parking space is available for your rented/owned car. The rooms are very clean. The AC was working well. But like all resorts, they too have TATA SKY which is rarely working. Once or twice a day, we experienced power cuts for a short period. General Stores, Chai Shops, Boutiques, and Restaurants are within walking distance. Though for shopping, Lunch/ Dinner, we preferred to travel to Palolem. We had a few minor issues related to Door Locks, Television, etc. But they were taken care of by the Resort staff. However, we were sometimes terrified of local caretakers' children playing, cycling, or throwing stones near the rented car. We will surely consider coming back next time. NOTE: Check-In time is approx. Between 1 and 2 p.m. However, if you reach early they allow you FREE Check-In only after 11 a.m. Charges are Rs. 500/- if you Check-In between 9 to 11 a.m. and Rs. 750/- If you wish to Check-In before 9 a.m.

Very nice and comfy place near the patnem beach. The hotel has kitchen and utensils to cook as well. One of the best place to stay in South Goa at reasonable price.

It was clean but quite smaller than what it was visible in pictures. Walking distance from beach.

Affordable and friendly place. Has enough privacy, the staff were very helpful and patient with all our questions. They made sure we were safe and left alone. We had rented a scooter very haphazardly and the owner was kind enough to give us a good deal on that too. We felt happy to have chosen this place, it's close to pretty much everything we wanted to do on South Goa, or the ease of access was very much there. We will be visiting this place again every time we visit South of Goa. As for the room itself. We got an studio style apartment to ourselves. A balcony, a bed, wardrobe, dressing area, kitchen and a washroom. Super comfortable. Had a fridge too so we could keep the beers cold :)

Hotel feels newly constructed, but lift was not working, had to climb up 2 floors along with luggage to get to our room. Curtains wasnt there in the room, could find bed bugs running around the bed, blanket was not provided. Mosquitoes was there inside the room and mosquito repellant liquid like goodknight, all-out etc not provided. Room did not have intercom facility to contact housekeeping and the listed numbers did not give any response on contacting. Geyser Hot water was not working. Overall Very Bad Experience, apart from good location (proximity to Patnem Beach)
