DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Goa - Arpora - Baga

Good hotel to stay. The rooms were big and clean. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The food was good. The only annoying thing was that for any requirements (food or housekeeping) we are required to call the reception. Mostly the services were prompt. Good big swimming pool. None of the rooms has a bathtub.

Average experience here. They dont pick up calls from the intercom lot of times.
And considering the price range, rooms should give that luxury vibe which is missing. Couches put there looked old. And the pillows provided were so bad. They just completely get squished when you rest your head. You have to fold the pillow to have a mass.
The swimming pool is quite good though. As well as the breakfast provided.

Pathetic. Got fooled with the name as it associates to Hilton chain. At first they did not have valet parking which was okay. Post which the rooms were not ready so we had to wait at restaurant. We ordered food at restaurant and it was really bad with exorbitant prices for what I don’t know.
And after all this I was hoping for a good room. But alas. The room was pathetic and badly maintained. The floors are dirty and have stain marks. The room appears to be some old retro guest house left unmaintained.
Please do not be fooled by the name as well as the pictures online. It Truly is a scam.

The internet was disconnecting every 5 minutes so it was very challenging to get any work done... there was a party and people were making noise ALL night long until 4:30am. When I called reception to ask the to ask for quiet they didn't do anything. The hotel is going through construction so there is noise all day. I asked for 2 twin beds and of course receive a room with only one bed. The room was old and the cleaning was not well done. I felt a little disgusted being there. I ordered in room dining and the food was not good at all...to top everything, they charged me twice for the third night.
Not recommended. You are better off spending all that money at a different location.

Half the hotel is undergoing maintenance and renovation. Therefore there is a frequent switch between direct electricity and generator. So your room lights and AC switch on a off frequently everything they switch. Facilities are okay. Staff is very friendly. There is only one restaurant in the hotel. Restaurant service is a slow. The best part is having a taxi service at their doorstep. All beaches, markets, restaurants are at least 15 minutes drive from here and you will need a day long cab with you

The first time I visited I had a ball of a time.
The rooms at the pool side is so lovely and romantic.
I highly appreciate the ambience of the property.
Only thing I would advise to service the pool table and add few more entertainment games for the guest.

First of all, the rooms were spacious and clean. The staffs were kind and cheerful. We had a pleasant stay. Even though there’s renovation work going on, the floors were clean and not messy.
Food was ok and need to keep up to the Hilton standards.

Doubletree By Hilton Hotel Goa-Arpora- Baga is a good place to stay, nothing great though, it has descent facilities but superb food and remarkable staff courtesy is the best thing about this hotel. Food is literally Micheline star food.. it was soo nice. Rooms are little cozy and do not offer twin beds, when we went the hotel was under renovation and lot of drilling and construction work was going on. Hotel is also located at a dead-end of lane which I do not like a lot but along with all meal stay plan Hotel is a nice deal. We recommend this hotel to travellers spendings days out roaming around Goa and just spending night at hotel.
