TASHI HOME STAY

Tashi Homestay is actually a homestay. The good thing is no one extra butters you for extra cash. You simply come, pay, interact and stay. Food is actually homely, directly from aunty's Kitchen.

The Home stay is very nice and too clean. The host made us very comfortable that we literally felt like our own home. Host is very caring and responsive, and very helpful in nature.the view from room is spectacular. Absolutely stunning views. If you are planning to stay at bomdila I would definitely recommend this place.

We loved our five-night stay at Tashi Homestay. In fact, we extended our stay because it was so good. We stayed in a huge and beautifully furnished room with a wonderful view of the mountains and a large attached bathroom with a geyser. The house has a nice terrace with mountain views, and an attractive garden with flowers, herbs and vegetables. We even had breakfast in the garden one bright sunny morning!

The homestay is nicely situated above the town, in a peaceful neighborhood close to the old Geluk monastery. You can take many lovely walks in this area and around the rest of Bomdila.

Tashi and his wife Nyonba prepared delicious meals for us, and they and their two domestic helpers were quick to get us anything we needed. There were a couple of days when Bomdila had a total blackout, so Tashi and Nyonba made sure we had lamps or candles and always a thermos of hot water.

Tashi is full of great information about Bomdila and western Arunachal Pradesh, and he loves to share interesting tips and background with his guests. We really appreciated that.
On our last morning, we had to be at the sumo stand at 5:30 AM to catch a sumo to Tawang. Tashi not only offered to drive us, he also brought us tea before 5:00 AM! We were so grateful.

We recommend Tashi Homestay for anyone who appreciates a cozy, comfortable stay in a beautiful family home.

The Homestay is just behind the circuit house. We got very homely behaviour from the owner. Geyser, room heater, electric kettle and other amenities like almirah, table, chairs T. V. everything were available in the room. Variations in food was not available but cooked foods was tasty. Attached bathroom with basin was available with the room but there was no tap for hot water in the basin. Wi-fi was not available.

Very bad staying experience for my family. The condition of the rooms were very bad. Bed sheets, linens were dirty.
Toilet was horrible. Ambience was very bad. Don't believe the pictures. Served cheap food. No access to kitchen, no TV, sockets weren't working.
Could not stay a single night. Overall a horrible experience for the complete stay.

awesome place. The owner was so good. We reached at 7pm but still the owner arranged food for four of us. In the morning we had a long conversation with the owner who told us about the culture, life style of people of Arunachal Pradesh. It was a pleasant stay.

Worst HotelI stayed in my life, dont believe the pictures.
Rooms are so bad, it looks like cheap dharamshala.
Owner serves cheap food in the name of Home Food.
No TV, No Kitchen access (As mentioned in the ), Electric sockets not working, bed's were making noise.

Stay was homely. Evening chat with the owner was very reviving of my old memories about Bomdila and Tawang. Though, there was something missing in the food but it was good. Comparing food with North or South is not justified. Also, such comparisons deprives you from real feelings of the place culture custom & people. Hope to see you again Mr Tsering
