Letro Home Stay

One of the best places in and around Dirang and Sangti, to completely immerse yourself in the bliss of nature. If you are a nature-lover, nothing can beat this location. Situated right next to the pebbly shores of a river, with vast expanses of open valley lands all around, this place is like a balm to soothe city souls. The staff at this place is super accommodating and always ready to go the extra mile to make sure your stay is comfortable.

If you're a Nature lover who just wants to submerge yourself (literally) and unwind from technology then Sangti valley should DEFINITELY be in your itinerary. Letro has a basic homestay facility as well as a campsite with Tents situated right by the riverside. If you don't mind tents, I highly recommend taking that option since that puts you right next to the river. We went with a 5 year old and he could not get enough of running around the campsite chasing rabbits and ducks, taking a dip in the ice cold waters nearby etc.

* Must visit if you are a nature lover
* If you have specific food preferences you WILL need to tell them in advance as Sangti is an isolated village without a readily available market nearby
* If you're not a teetotaler, make sure you try the Norfel Kiwi wine and apple wine (if you're lucky you can also get to try Arra)
* Mobile range is a bit iffy but hey, thats the point right :)
* If you give advanced heads-up, you can get a Village walk, Budhist flag printing and parchment making classes via a local guide

Perfect location to chill out with family, friends. Anyone who wants to explore and experience the vibes, landscapes of Dirang, must stay in this place. It is far from main Dirang town but it is totally worth it. We stayed in this home stay basically camping for 3 days. The owner is so polite and helping, he arranged us everything smoothly. It is located at the bank of a small river and we enjoyed the perfect raw vibes of camping amidst the nature surrounded by mountains. You can also go for trekking in the mountains which is nearby the property.

During the journey i stayed in 4 homestay but here i experienced the Worst hospitality compared to rest of the homestay. And also quality of food served is tasteless. Better to find another home stay rather than staying here. And also the service is very slow.

Good location but poor service.
Staff was very irresponsible and do not respond properly.
Food quality very bad.

The location was the only thing that was good in this place. The staff that worked there was very lazy. The management was not good. Everything you ask them the answer was NO we don't have. Like we asked do you have tissue ans was no we do not have. Do you have snacks No we do not have. They were not prepared to host even when then resort was half full. They provided us with 5 sticks for bonfire and charged us 300rs for that and when we asked for some more they were like you have to pay extra 300rs for more. The staff was not co-operative at all. The rooms are cold as hell, there is no room heater or chimney. So think before booking ur stay here, don't just go for the looks, u will get various other options to stay in sangti valley.

Such beautiful scenery near the Homestay. Good, comfortable tents. Food is very limited and that's expected as it's a small place to stay. Breathtaking sceneries and you will sleep and wake up to the sound of flowing river. Very peaceful. Must experience this if you are visiting in Dirang.
