GAYBOO’s TRADITIONAL HOMESTAY

Had an amazing stay at this place of Gibu Sona and Nana who made our stay comfortable. Amazing home food and some rice beer for the night. Spent 3 nights here and we had great time.

Lovely place and very warm and welcoming family and staff running this place. Especially Nana , Gayboo's wife is very funny person. It's really memorable to spend time with them. We stayed 3 nights and it was really fun. The staff members are mostly young boys who are very enthusiastic and pure hearted. Food was good too. Though I find the place lil over priced as per the homestay prices elsewhere in India. But the family makes up for it. Ask them for places to visit nearby and they will let you know some of the best location to see and may send of their staff as guide. Loved my stay here and would definitely recommend the place

A group of 6 of us stayed here. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The hosts were incredibly friendly and they have interesting stories to tell too!
You can good filling food, a warm dining room and a bonfire for the cold nights. On a clear morning you get beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, capped with snow if you go in the right time.
The hosts help you with carrying out your itinerary if you have one or can make an itinerary if you don't have one

Best places to stay when in Menchuka. The host and his wife are very friendly. We went just before Lasoor festival so we got to see their dance rehearsal. Lovely place with rooms opening to the Menchuka La mountain.

Words fall short to express what a pleasant experience it was to stay at this place.Lovely traditional set up and food.
Owner Gayboo ,his wife and Lompsum,their house help were the kindest hosts I have ever come across.They went beyond their call of duty.
Our vehicle broke down twice and the Gayboo extended help so that we can catch our trains and flights on time.Grateful! Highly recommended!

If I could give this homestay more stars I would. This was our best homestay experience in the six weeks since we left Canada. The atmosphere in the evening by bringing everyone around the fire leaves a lasting memory. The English is good enough and the host and hostess and staff give a warm and personal welcome. If you get the chance look no further.

The hosts Mr. Gayboo and his wife are very warm , welcoming and sweet people.
We were planning to stay for 2 nights but landed up staying for 3 nights.
Food is good and born fire place is where all the good experiences start.
It's really like a homestay and one would really feel at home with Mr. Gayboo and family.

Food is awesome with born fire from evening till the dinner time. They welcome you with Tea, Butter tea, rice beer and amazing food cooked in front of you in a traditional way. Homestay Owner is very helpful and very nice.
