Tenkasi Junction

The station was located little far off from the bus stand. And station facilites are ok and not to the level of other bigger stations in the region. And waiting rooms are available but mostly not usable or closed. And the platform allocation for trains is also questionable.

Calm and clean railway station. Well maintained. One of the easiest way to reach ambasamudram, kalidaikurchi, VK puram and Papanasam. Also it's a major vegetables cultivation farms are located in tenkasi.

In courtallam, extradinory room available, in courtallam , Take a left in that green board in main road and right on this vairams nagar arch, reached ezhilagam hotel-worth for every penny, mobile number in Google, to five falls there is no bus, only auto is available, you can take auto and madurai pandian lodge military hotel is good for non-veg hotel nearby, for border parota restaurant have to travel.

Tenkasi Junction Railway Station is located in the Railway feeder road of Tenkasi. The nearest bus depot is located in Tenkasi New Bus stand .

Tenkasi though a major city of South India, im sad to say,the railway station don't reflexes ita greatness. Its a large station, but with a few trains passing through. Information system is apathetic. No whereabouts. The trim stable don't show exact times.
I Wonder, the misery of pilgrims reaching here the famous south Indians Kashi, rt the Northern Kashi.

Very clean.. highly maintained... Has a good look.. and very good atmosphere.... Also has a very good view of hills...... It is less crowded... So easy to get a seat for unreservation coach... It is the last junction in tamilnadu to Kerala border............
Shops are less...... A small railway junction......
