This falls located on the way of jowai town. U can go by drive. But the car entry point from main road to the tryshi falls is locked. So u have to go by little bit off road. We had visited 18 March which is dry weather so water level ware very low. Any way wanderful scenic beauty. U must visit.

A must visit place in and around Jowai. The journey through the past fields is amazing as much as the destination. It's accessible by stairs, so does not require hardcore trekking skills.

It's a beautiful waterfall in Jowai. The trek is well constructed with stairs. It's an easy trek. Took us around 20 mins to walk down to the waterfall and about 30 mins to climb the stairs.

The waterfall is beautiful but the place can be crowded. There are breathtaking views of rice fields from the stairs.

A few kilometres before reaching main Jowai. Around 50-60 steps downstairs to the waterfall, clean area, not so many people. Sunsets around the fall are wonderful as well, panoramic sunset views are usual.

A group of us cycled here from Shillong and camped over on the plains close to the falls. Tryshi falls is magical just like out of a movie scene. The place is well maintained and there is a staircase leading to the base of the falls. It is a very picturesque spot.

This is what happens to a place that is transformed into a tourist spot. The waterfall is quite nice but the construction is done all around the falls which is definitely an overkill.
.
I understand the idea of protecting the hikers but I guess if we do so much construction then it kills the overall feeling of hiking.

This is one of the best waterfall, it's secluded, pristine and majestic. It's a hidden diamond. One has to negotiate steps but it's worth it. Nature's beauty in all its glory. MUST VISIT, there are hotels and home stays around or you can drive 160 minutes from Shillong, it's just amazing.
