Best hidden gem. We went on july, so water level was medium and clear, enjoyed a lot as there was no one else. Try going on the weekdays or in early morning of weekends.

Mawsawa is a waterfall in Meghalaya. Mawsawa is situated nearby to Umtynghiang Falls. A great waterfall that's not known to many tourists. Finding the parking spot is a bit tricky, there are no signs. It's a very scene waterfall with very less crowd of people. Do visit this in monsoon it will b a great waterfall, bt water decrease after monsoon. Mind-blowing and enjoyable please. Peace full area only nature nothing else.

This was again an awesome experience. The waterfall view is breathtaking. We reached were there on a sunny day, so the pictures came quite good. There are two paths to reach the waterfall, one is from the main road which is Dainthlen road. And second is the kutcha track in which you have to park your vehicle next to road and walk about 600-700 mtrs and go down through rough track (small hiking). I chose to trek and reach at the bottom of the falls instead of choosing the normal view point road and the stairs.
A splendid view and awesome experience.

The fall, the trek, the place everything is so mesmerizing. The water is crystal clear with a clean blue hue , it's like a natural swimming pool. The entrance to the fall is so amazing .. and there is a huge parking space for your vehicles. You can go with your family, friends or as a couple with no worries.

A great waterfall that's not known to many tourists. Finding the parking spot is a bit tricky, there are no signs, but follow the GPS map location. From there, it's a 5-10 minute walk to the falls. There's a natural pool where you can swim, and at the top of the fall, there are several natural rock pools for children to splash and have fun. Shallow, cold water and tiny waterfalls for the kids to enjoy. If you go early enough, then you'll even have the waterfalls all to yourself, like we did. :)

Just one word of caution and one complaint - the wet rocks are VERY slippery, be careful.

And when we visited, the spot was left dirty by the last party to picnic there - some of the pools had old rice mixed in them, there were half eaten lemons and onions thrown around, etc. All this was eventually getting mixed in the 'clean' water flowing into the waterfall down below. Truly disgusting. We need to keep our natural beauty clean!
