A fantastic place off into the quiet away from the busy life. There is a calm pool for the beginners to learn kayaking, and a long stream of water for the mediate and advanced athletes.
There is a nice pool to swim and even jump from a small rock into the cool water. Treks are available and waterfalls.
The food is always delicious. Great curry and rice and even some western food is available.
They are in the process of getting it fully up and running now but it is still a fantastic place to get away for a day or week and enjoy the outdoors. There are places to sleep there that are nice and quaint.
The main town is a around an hour drive away with a bus leaving in mid morning and 3 pm.
Overall a 5 star rating for the outdoes adventure type. Located at the edge of a tea garden and the banks of a river, it is a must see and experience place for all those who travel to India!

Good place for kayaking, you can also learn kayaking there from Mr. Ian Vincent. They also conduct annually the Megha Kayak Festival. Where kayakers from all over the globe attend.

Very good experience. We went for a day trip. Reached there by 11am. We went for kayaking and it was the first experience for us. Interesting. By 1 pm , lunch was served. Simple but good home made lunch. We enjoyed the experience and will definitely visit again for an overnight stay. The hospitality is amazing. Sheila aunty will be there with you throughout. Their children will also be there during the kayaking training. All are very helpful. It’s amazing to note that the entire constructions including the cottages, house etc are made by Mr Ian and family only. They are not for business and their passion drives them. Highly recommended to all who are in Shillong and Guwahati to visit the location and enjoy the experience.

They have three modern cabins for lodging, and there is also a place for camping in tents if you prefer. Catering available at reasonable rates, and boats and gear can be hired at reasonable rates as well. The location is very quiet and beautiful, surrounded on one side by deep jungle and on the other by a lush tea garden. As well as kayaking there is swimming, walking, trekking and fishing to experience. Our elevation is 740m (2400ft).

The only place of its kind in the entire North East of India. Great place and location to learn whitewater kayaking with a great family looking after the place. For anyone interested in whitewater training or even a small holiday, this is the right place to go to. Highly recommended. 👍👍👍

The best place you can be. It's an amazing escape from society. Kayaking and birdwatching was a phenomenal experience, guided and supervised by the best. The place in itself is phenomenal but the owners are the most caring, loving and humble people I have seen. I went there, had an amazing experience and I can proudly say that I have no regrets at all.
