Well worth a visit on your way to the beach or coming back from the beach . It is only a 6 km walk from town centre to beach passing by the Light House and crossing the rail tracks.
“Great view of beach”Lately visit the place. But you will love the view it provides. You can have a great view of the beach. Not recommended for elderly and kids 🤩❤️😇🍃

You can enjoy the city and beach view from the top of the Lighthouse. It's a really pleasant and wonderful view from the top. If you are planning to visit there, then visit in the morning. The cool breeze air and sea view.

One of the best tourist destinations in Alappuzha. It’s constructed in 1862 and well maintained. You will get a full view of city canals and beach from the top of light house . There is a small museum for displaying light equipments used in light house

Nice place to visit in Alleppey. They charge 20 rs for entry fee and 10 rs for photography. 105 wooden steps yo to climb along with a 12 step iron ladder the view on the top is nice. The full beach is visible, there is also a small museum kind of thing, there they kept old light House material bulb, rods etc

The lighthouse is 160 years old and has a small museum at the entrance to tell the story. There are 108 steps to climb to reach the top. It's easy n took us only 10 mins to climb. The view on the top is awesome, greenery on 3 sides and the sea on one.

Don't miss visiting this light house, if you're going to Alappuzha beach. This lighthouse built in 1862, is located at a walkable distance from the beach. The entry fee is just ₹20. On climbing the curved wooden stairway inside the lighthouse, we reach the top from where we can get a mesmerizing view of Alappuzha town, Alappuzha bypass, and the beach behind it. It's also highly recommended for watching sunsets with the warm sea breeze in the evening. There's also a maritime museum, which is located near the ticket counter, at the entrance of this lighthouse.

This is a very beautiful well maintained place. There are lift in the light house but not for all the floor. Senior citizen may faced problem, while climb stairs. See the photos captured by me. Its a best Arial view top of that light house.
