It is a beautiful waterfall on the Munnar - Theni route. We can stop there and enjoy the eye-catching beauty of the waterfall which is in the middle of the tea plantation. It's really heavenly!!
The falls is situated in the Tata tea plantation (private property). So we can't enter there. But can enjoy it from the road side.
The area is very cold and covered by the fog most frequently. It's an experience!!
We can see tea plantations on both sides of the road. The water from the fall is flowing through the plantation passing the road. The evening view is mesmerizing! We can enjoy it with a hot corn or tea with bujjies which is available in the road side shops.
All we need to do is just stop there and enjoy.

I was there by mid June to experience this great flow of water. For the first couple of days, it was not the season so the water was not flowing. However, then it started to rain very heavily and then I got to witness such a great water falls with an extreme flow of water at around 5000 plus feet from the sea level.

You just need to be in the season or on a rainy day to witness the same. You will definitely fall in love with this. And please do not try to get in, it's restricted for your own safety.

This is on the NH-85, on the way to Munnar town. If you are going on an off-season situation, then you may find it very dry. So plan your trip accordingly.

Along the road to Theni from Munnar is an absolutely stunning waterfall. We are able to make a stop there so that we can take in the breathtaking scene of the waterfall that is located in the centre of the tea plantation. It is truly out of this world!
In the middle of the Tata tea plantation is where the falls may be found (private property). Therefore, we are unable to go in there. But you can still appreciate it from the side of the road.
The region has an extremely low average temperature and is regularly shrouded in fog. It's quite the adventure!!
On either side of the road, there are tea plantations that we can see. The water from the waterfall is pouring past the road as it makes its way through the plantation. The view in the evening is really breathtaking! We are able to enjoy it with a cup of hot corn or tea accompanied with bujjies, all of which are sold at the roadside shops.
We might simply come to a halt there and take pleasure in the scenery.

One of the most beautiful waterfalls i have ever seen. While driving on serpentine roads of Munnar, we were shocked to see the sudden appearance of the waterfall. It was majestic, we loved it. Also it was monsoon time so the waterfall flow was amazing. It was beautiful, and being there just brought peace in our mind. One of the most beautiful waterfalls of the hill station.

This is an awesome place to be in monsoon.
There are multiple waterfalls next to each other
The waterfall is located about 2-3 Kms from the chinnakanal
One has to trek about 50-60 minutes while going towards the waterfall as it is uphill.
While returning one could return in less than half an hour.
On reaching the waterfall the path splits into 3 paths. One going to the foothill, one to the top and one to the opposite hill.
Foot of the waterfall is where you would want to be in monsoon.
Please see the pictures attached and you will understand

Its a pretty looking waterfalls just by the road on Munnar-Pooparai-Theni route. Its next to Tata Tea estate. The falls isnt huge but has a good waterflow. Although access to it has been cut off by wires.. since it flows underneath the road into the near by valley.

Its a nice stopping place enroute but definitely not a part of munnar Itinerary.

This place also gets quite misty.
