One of the beautiful hills in Malappuram District,spent time here better early morning between 5.45am to 7.30 am for the views and evening can see the sunset, you can see the fog on the morning that is really amazing, you can reach here by bike or 4x4 vehicles, I choose better walk that really entertaining really nice ambience,

Very beautiful place in Pandallur hills, Morning and even sunsets are so spectacular to watch, You can expect cloud beds on cold days, The way till here is bit adventurous if you are by 4×4 vehicles you can drive till the top or even with your bike, Best for morning hiking, crowded in the morning, There are rocks to climb for the best view of Mankada town and far mountains around it.

Nice place. Offroaders, pls make it your first priority for next ride.. You will get a good offloading experience. Not very difficult road but you can enjoy the ride.

Chekuthan para is a private property, but we can go without any tickets, there is a lot to walk from the bottom to top of the hill , we can go with off road bikes , but nowadays some roads are not good for vehicles

First of all, it is a private property but so far it hasn't prevented anyone from going up anytime. Technically you can take your bike to the top but the road can be a bit steep at times with very uneven trails. It will take some time to reach the top if you are walking , so be prepared to build up a sweat. But it will be more or less worth it once you reach the top where a grand view awaits. Preferably going before sunrise is better as it gets you an awesome view of the mountains covered in mist and gradual rising of the sun from the clouds although the evening also does not disappoint. Do visit if you're in the mind for some trekking or even some light offroading with your bike.
