The place is an institution but that's where it ends. Food is just about ok. Filter coffee is a joke. Cold coffee is just a sweetened something. Go here only if you want to get a feel of the old building.

Good place. Mostly crowded. Love the coffee and South Indian food. Unfortunately menu was limited in the morning. We tried masala dosa, sambar vada, idly and puri masala. Food was great. Though the portion size of sambar must be increased. Rest everything was great specially the strong coffee. You can also buy original coffee powder from there.

It's in an old building and hard to find as the name boards are also old. But the food was great. And really really pocket friendly. Service was also good. Nothing special in the ambiance but you will fell the history. parking might be hard to get as it in one of the business roads filled with bikes.

One of the best food joints in Pondicherry. Highly recommended. They served sweets on Independence Day. Very thoughtful. The food here is up to the mark. One must visit this place. I also got their coffee powder which is so good.

One of the old restaurants in PY. O have tried their poached egg bread toast which is highly recommended. And you can also try their coffee and cutlet which is also very good. The price is reasonable and the atmosphere is vintage with a lot of old regular customers.

It is a MUST VISIT place if you travel to Pondicherry.

We had our breakfast here.

It is 60 years old and Self-explanatory because of it's building design and structure.

I liked the famous Bombay Toast, a must try.

Old school experience. I’ve been trying out every ICH outlet wherever I travel and it never disappoints. Must try Bombay toast here. There will be a wait time for the preparation but worth it. Very friendly staff as always. Light on pocket.
