Coconut Lagoon - CGH Earth Resort

6 star rating. Just superb. Everything is perfectly managed here - great food, good rooms, great property, and outstanding hospitality. We celebrated our anniversary their and they went above and beyond to make it a memorable event. Close your eyes and trust me... Book your stay here. You have to park your car at a designated gated (security guard available) parking spot and from their they will take you via boat to the resort. Upon arrival you will be greeted with traditional music and drinks. They currently don't serve alcohol. They have mainted the ecology of this property as much as possible to the original and this you will find many butterfly and also monitor lizard which is harmless. There are many activities to be done on the property both paid and free. Don't forget, this is a expensive place but totally worth it.

Good green resort. Maintained their earthy look and vibe throughout. Although for the kind of money they are charging i feel room and other part of property should be better maintained. Can see some spider webs in most of the property areas. Also washrooms are partly open to sky so a lot of mosquitoes in the washroom and no treatment for that, Which for me is a big discomfort. Washrooms are a big disappointment for me in the property.
Food and restaurants are good. Location of property is the best. Resort activities are basic. Go there to relax and to take a dip into nature

They take you to the resort in a motorboat as the resort cannot be reached by car , and that ride in itself is a beautiful one. It was no ordinary ride as the ride takes you to the reception inside the resort through a very cute gate and bridge located inside the property itself. One would be greeted by the staff with live instrumental music being played and one gets coconut water as a refreshment drink on arrival.

The property is located at the edge of the backwaters. My room was huge with a personal pool and a special balcony. The room gave views to the small lake behind as well as the backwaters infront. It really gave me a very good vibe as the architecture was similar to what I say in Bali.

The food was also very good here , we even have the place to sit outside and have food.

We also have a butterfly garden inside the property which is beautiful and one can spot very different kinds of butterflies inside the garden.

The resort also gives the optional sunset cruise which was also very good. You also get the evening tea in a very unique manner , I wouldn't spoil the surprise for you 😝.

It is an amazing place for people looking for serenity, calm and peace. Excellent place for meditation, yogic exercise required for physical and mental health. Beautiful scenic environment under clear sky, surrounding blue, mystic beauty with chanting of exotic birds. Heritage residence gives fusion experience of old culture with modern technology. Staying in the lagoon is an unforgettable experience which really makes you feel rejuvenated.

Location of hotel is magnificent. Beautiful view of backwaters along with old kerala architecture. Hotel is build keeping the nature at its best. Stay is a wonderful mixture of forest life and luxury. It is surrounded by different species of birds, butterflies and other animals in their natural habitat. They have amazing programs through out the day and wonderful delicacies to offer. Best part was swing by the small pond, evening sunset cruise and pool. it was a great time that i have spent in this hotel... Thanks to team

I stayed here for 2 nights and had awesome experience. It is very connected to nature. Right from check in to check out everything was very smooth. The property itself is very big about 30 acres full lush greenery and canals. Reaching here in a Boat itself was an experience. Food was top notch, being a vegetarian, we did not feel any problem and had all our meals on the property. The restaurant team is excellent

Great place to enjoy the backwaters. The location is exceptional. Stayed at the pool villas which give a feel of the traditional Kerala home with a modern twist. The pool was clean and big enough for personal use. The property is beautifully maintained with great views and experiences. Breakfast was really good with different buffet options
