Kumarakom Lake Resort

The Kumarakom Lake Resort, is a beautiful property situated by the banks of Lake Vembanad. We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. There’s ample activities included for anyone looking to keep themselves occupied through the day. The food here was outstanding, the staff courteous and attentive, and the rooms were spacious with large bathrooms! The overall spa experience could be better and more indulgent, with attention to detail you’d expect for the price you pay. The therapy was quite alright. Other than that, great place to unwind if you’re looking to have a relaxed holiday and lots of good food!

A wonderful backwaters lake resort hotel for anyone who is a nature / fun lover. You can enjoy arranged boat ride on the vembanadu backwaters,have fun with fishing, site seeing, experience with pottery making, and enjoy the hearty courtesies of the employees.

The food served is super and the inmates are very frank and down to earth courteous. As said it is supposed to be the only paradise on earth. I enjoyed my stay very much but the only regret I had was that it was all soon over and was only for one night.

I would recommend anyone a two nights stay to enjoy the experience to the fullest.

Wonderful ambiance and location. The property has been tastefully developed with a great attention to detail. From the door locks and the bathroom fitting, to the carving on the roof sections - there is no expense spared.

But what beats this and makes the stay even more memorable is the staff. Always smiling, always helpful. Excellent crisis management.

A truly wonderful experience. The house boat experience is a must and I would encourage everyone to do try this as opposed to just staying in the resort. Not a lot of things to do outside the resort so it can get boring if you stay for longer durations. Everything else is top notch. Thank you making the stay so wonderful :)

Stayed here with family for 3 nights.. though its an old property i must say it is very well maintained.. some minor glitches here and there in the rooms but nothing that would make you uncomfortable.. service is excellent as you would expect from such holiday resorts.. staff is very courteous and friendly.. they made special jain arrangements for food as one of our member preferred jain food.. overall a very relaxing and beautiful experience.. buffet spread was also more than enough for breakfast and dinner.. there were artists on tabla and flute every night during dinner which was wonderful. The sunset is the best time and highlight of this place for me.. we had a pool villa which was an advantage as we had a 7 yr old with us and he simply loved the pool. We had a wonderful stay.

Came for lunch on a weekend with family and friends. Was little disappointed initially as they didn't have alacarte options, only buffet was available, however the buffet lunch had lot of options including live counters. The major scope of improvement that I see is to increase the quality of the dessert's being served, especially ice-creams.
Its a good getaway place. The entire resort was well maintained and the scenic beauty is awesome.

Great property, facilities and staff! We had a short one night stay at the resort and it was truly a magical experience before Christmas. Enough cannot be said about the super friendly staff. Kavi, the activity manager stood out as a great help through the stay!
