Gold India Beach Resort

Horrible Experience.
Me & My family booked this place for our vacation but never thought the hotel would this pathetic. Only the resort is cool by look inside management is totally gone for a toss. Rude behaviour is there first service. Awful smell from the whole room & bathroom. Bathroom taps & other things won't work.

From the first hour we have to shout on them. Don't dare to order food here. You have to eat on your own risk. If you order something they will prepare among their wish. Veg ordered, fish pokaro served. In the evening we ordered some snacks, not a single food can be tasted. Even they served wrong items, after all this mishap they gave us bill & we paid.

Avoid this place to make your vacation more peaceful

The hotel has a wonderful view, backyard sea beach accessible at any time. Very scenic area. Very patient staffs and helpful too. We enjoyed this trip with family of 6 and old aged parents and was superb.

Very rude behaviour, doesn't know how to talk. 4 boys Directly came into my room without even knocking, when I shouted the manager who was having pan came and said he would throw my bags outside and told me to get out that moment.
Money harrasment is also there

Please avoid booking this resort if you want to have a peaceful vacation..I will suggest no one to stay at this resort.Location and rooms are very good.But when you are on a vacation you are looking for a good service too. And here you will get zero level service.Ramen the manager of the resort is so useless. After the booking was confirmed when we reached we were said that your booking is not confirmed and we can't provide you rooms.After showing him his msgs in WhatsApp somehow we managed to get one room. Then the next day when we went for sightseeing we got a call from the resort that we have to check out then again I had to remind and explain them that my booking was for 2 nights. Havelock is such a beautiful place but this resort is the worst one.

I would really not recommend this hotel Gold India Beach Resort to anyone.

Toilet: toilet was smelling,
There were cockroaches in the bathroom.
There was nothing present except 2 medimix soap in toiletries.
The towel which was provided to us stinky and wet.

Room: spider web was there in room
Ac was not working.
Tv remote was not having battery.

Hotel amenities:
There is network problem in whole Island only Airtel sim works for limited purpose.
There is WiFi but whose coverage is limited to reception. Everyone was on reception to use WiFi.
The hotel receptionist the old one was rude in nature.
And the timing is 12:30-8:30 Between check-in and check-out. The staff started knocking on the door from 7:30am.

Choose this hotel at your risk
No need to go for the beach facing. Because it starts getting dark from 5:30 pm. By the time you reach the hotel you will not be able to see or enjoy anything like beach.

First, behaviour-wise the receptionist or the manager was very very irresponsible and rude. He doesn't even know we already had paid and booked for the rooms, we had to wait for an hour...
Secondly, the rooms we got we're old and needed to be cleaned nicely, the geyser didn't work. It was very horrible.
Third, the location was the only thing positive so somehow because of this we managed to pass the time.

Overall, there are better options for the money spent.

I would give it 0 star if possible. Worst experience. Simple lodge would be much better than this. We booked 2 rooms and given complete payment before 7 days itself. But when we reached they gave our room to some one else and told us to shift the booking to some other hotel. After facing there rude behavior for 1 hr, we called police and showed our booking verification details. Then they agreed to give us the room. And the room has a show piece AC, Show piece Geyser and the broken toilet flush. We had paid 3300 rs for night and this was the situation. They has shown something else. Totally cheater people. Book room on your own risk.

I have given 2 star only for beach view location of this resort. Management is very disappointing here. They don't have enough staff to provide you basic services. You have to beg their for towels. Manager behaviour is very rude. You may have to wait their on arrival due to rooms cleaning process is very lengthy. Don't try food here because it is too much costly and tasteless. AC and Gizer are show piece here. Management simply replies that due electricity problem we can not provide these facility. This has to be told to guest in advance so that they can try other options. Bathroom doors don't have lock u have to try hard to open it. Pathetic stay. Recommend try other option based on reviews.
