MAYFAIR Hill Resort Darjeeling

Don't let the entry of the hotel deceive you! The hotel is a vintage palace inside. It's massive and has a very fresh vibe.
It's maintained very well and painted every few weeks.

We had the attic room which were completely made in wood.

The staff is extremely polite, friendly and hospitable.

The hotel opens up to the mall road and it barely takes 8 minutes to walk it to the mall road.

The property is beautiful.. but not worth the money knowing the size of the rooms.. they were so tiny.. after paying 8-9K you expect the room to be big enough.. they gave us a v v small room in the beginning which was just a small room taken near the railway station to spend a night, i asked them if there are other options. Initially, they said we running full. After complaining, they gave us another room .. it was slightly bigger than the previous one. You have no option to say yes.. Traveling all the way from mum you expect the resort to be big and which offers better food and more options in breakfast. If someone traveling for business and dont want to stay in an avg hotel, for them this is a good option. May not be a great option for a vacation.

As you enter you are welcomed by the lovely blooms and a elevator takes you down to the reception that’s awesome.The Royal British Ambiance will surely attract and the hand picked show pieces are undoubtedly rare.
One can capture the picture-perfect view of the Kanchanjunga from the room.Well maintained property.Warm hospitality, committed team of courteous staff,good food and what else do you need.Absolutely premium experience and worth every penny.

This hotel make our darjeeling experience worst.. very bad room service, too small room according to the price, hotel owner will place all and everything on you about the bad service, please avoid this place at all cost.

This was a really nice stay in Darjeeling. The room was warm and the staff was really accommodating. There is also a nice game room. They also made packed breakfasts for us when we needed to leave early for tours and travel. We really enjoyed the couples massage we booked.

Fab hotel managed by Mr Mohanty, General Manager, Darjeeling. The Manager is an asset with his wonderful team. We stayed almost a week , treated loved and respected like a family. Would recommend everyone Mayfair hill resort Darjeeling.

Not much to do in the hotel. It's a small place. The hotel is on a hill top so has a great ambience and chilly air always. The rooms have a fireplace which adds the cherry on the cake. The entire hotel is filled with variety of plants so it's eye soothing for anyone.

This might be the best property in Darjeeling to stay in or have meals.
Since the property is situated exactly opposite the mall road so the crowd is quite less. Even though there is no direct Kanchanjangha view from the hotel, you get to see a mesmerizing sunset directly from your room. Also one of the Kanchanjangha view points is just 2 to 3 mins walk from the hotel.
Inside the property is beautiful with flowers everywhere, a little Shiva Temple, breathtaking view and lip smacking food .. All staff members are extremely supportive and always ready to help you in every possible way.
If you want a peaceful trip to Darjeeling with great food this is definitely your place to go.
