The Oak Ridge

This is a very small hotel with total 8 rooms. Rooms are small but well appointed. Bathrooms can be cleaner. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is little off Mall Road but right besides the lake. The view from the room window is excellent. You get an eyeful beauty of the lake and nearby hills / mountains.
Service is again very good and the staff is very helpful.
On the con, they do not have a restaurant so you may need to go to the Mall Road (where you have some good eateries) for lunch and dinner. They make breakfast in hotel and serve in the room but choice is limited to what is being cooked!
The room rent is on the higher side.
Overall it was a nice experience.

With rooms at that price, this is a fairly good deal. That said, the rooms are small - and cozy! The view outside is great: the lake, mountains, the lights -- all add to the beauty. Being right on the road Hough has its disadvantages. Traffic noise, especially early morning is definitely disturbing. Staff is polite and cordial. Service is good. Breakfast gets served in the room and is limited to what they are cooking in the kitchen. You can't be choosy!

Staff charged me extra GST to get the Original Bill..!! I paid everything and they promised me to send the copy of Bill on my email once i will checkout but unfortunately they never did..!! I spoke to owner of the hotel as well and he assured me that i will get my bill but never sent and never picked my calls..!! I paid them 11000 INR for two nights and still got this service..!! I recommend everyone to not stay in this hotel as they are fake in their services

Great location with great views at affordable price.... We have stayed here for 2 day and our experience was great..we loved the views of Nanital lake with its big windows. There were no parking available at hotel but there is a parking nearby .Interiors are nice with all basic needs and amenities.

Nice people, excellent view from the room window. met the owner Mr. GS Anand. Amazing person. location is very quiet, away from Hustle bustle of Mall Road.. Food NOT available here. There is a small stall next door offering veg momos tea and snacks..

Awesome location, infact best location of Nainital. Just a few meters away from the Lake. Loved it, would love to stay again.

Location of hotel is best , rooms are at 2000-2200/-INR with an amazing view of Nainital lake .
Only family can stay here .

It was an awesome stay, located just near the lake. Rooms are nice and clean with a view of lake. The staff is humble and respectful. All the facilities provided by the hotel was great. We had a wonderful time would like to visit again.
