The Solitaire Express

Went to this hotel for the 3rd time. Had good experience the first 2 times but this time the room I received was not a good one, had a bad odour as soon as we entered, the wall putty was coming out at some of the places and although it looked clean but it was giving kind of unclean vibe like the cleaning did not happen very recently, that sort of. Plus the hot water issue has always been there, sometimes the hot water comes sometimes doesn't; don't know what's the problem.
Other than that everything is good, room service is good and food was also good.

Not worth the price. We had made a booking through ibibo but the difference we found out in the rooms was disappointing. The ceiling was chipped, the shower was not even working properly. I have been to fair share of hotels in my life but the room I found in this hotel for the price was awful. I asked to change our room but they offered a room that was even worse. They told me all the rooms were booked but that wasn’t the case. Highly recommend against it.

Worst rooms, bad smell , dirty bedsheet , food does not taste good.
Room don't worth more than 1500 including gst and breakfast.
I paid 2350/-, which is not worth.
If you are a customer who used to stay in hotel room that cost 3000 and above, believe me this hotel is not for you.

Rooms are small, we paid 2500 Rs but its actual worth is not more than 1500 Rs. Also following are the issues we faced while our stay

1) Hot water comes only after you have wasted 3 bucket loads of cold water.

2) Room is smaller , doesn't justify the paid price

3) Ordered 1 biryani for 370 rs and it was pathetic and chicken was half cooked.

4) Rooms and especially bathrooms don't have ventilation at all so expect some pungent smell throughout stay.

5) Have to request towels, napkins , floor mats, etc. Was arranged for only one person initially despite the stay was booked for two people.

One should avoid this hotel if you are paying a price above Rs 1500, not worth it

I have booker a room in solitaire express on 16th November, just after 15 mins I have cancelled my booking. Still they have charged full amount and deducted from my credit card on 20th of November. When I spoke to the reservation department they denied to give my money and that lady was talking to me in a rude way.i would never recommend to stay in this hotel.

Good location right in the middle of Rajpur road, about a kilometre from clock tower, neat and clean, good amenities, service is decent, buffet breakfast is basic but good with limited but adequate options. Property is neat and clean, sufficient amenities are provided. Staff is good and courteous.

Place is at a very good location, and rooms are also very good. Staff is very helpful specially gaurd uncle. Breakfast was also good and fresh. Loved the overall stay. Only drawback was in our room hot water didnt come the day we stayed although they said it was some issue. But overall good.

I checked in with my friends, firstly their landline phones wasn't working at all even after changing it then they asked me to call them personally on their mobile phones for the orders which is no professionalism at all. The very next day they told me that visitors aren't allowed even if it is day time however their hotel policy hasn't mentioned such thing, not only that they forced me to come down and meet my other friend at the reception only lastly they even charged extra 1k for a visitor who really didn't even stayed for a single night. After all this, me and my friend ended up checking out one day prior from the hotel. I have never experienced such pathetic behaviour from any hotel staff throughout my overall travelling experience. This stay was really horrible.
The way the receptionist was behaving with my girlfriends including me and being rude. Continuously showing tantrums and asking us to check out as if the hotel was his personal property and we haven't paid.
