Lakeside Inn - Hotel on Mall Road Nainital

I came for breakfast. I just ordered paranthas and tea. It took them almost 40 minutes to serve. If you compare there charges ( which are definitely high) their services are extremely slow .
Rooms are also very small.
I don't think so I will come again in this hotel as compared to charges they are taking, their services are very slow.
Only advantage of this hotel is it's location.

Loved our stay at Lakeside inn Nainital. The location of the hotel is excellent. It's on Mall road and beside the lake. Though room size is not too large but the rooms are cosy.

Staff not at all friendly but a bunch of money minded people. I asked to prepare something for my 2.5 year old son. They gave it without any question but when asked for extra milk, response I got is “will not give”, “outside food not allowed”. Come on man, I asked this for my son, not for me and not for my wife. You take whatever your cost is and give me what I need for my kid. First hotel I saw that said such a thing for a kid’s case. We had been travelling here and there, everywhere we found a good hospitality but I am totally shocked at them.

This review is for parents who can understand the emotions behind this review.

Location was beautiful. Room was clean but the only problem was that there was no mirror available inside the bedroom. Only one mirror was available in washroom. It was so disgusting if someone is using washroom, rest family members need to wait for that time period just to use the mirror. It's my suggestion that please do fix atleast one mirror in bedroom also. Otherwise all good including their staffs' behaviour.

We booked 2 superior rooms with partial lake view. Rooms were good 👍 , one room was big another was too small. Cramped with furniture.
TV was not working.
Otherwise it was ok

Biggest Disappointment

I had the worst experience booking Lake view inn hotel, staff has stolen our expensive watches from our luggage before our check out.
When we tried to complain about hotel staff stealing expensive watches, they refused to help. They don't even have CCTV cameras.
The provided room is the smallest and most cramped room I've ever seen. We paid far too much for this. Staff has denied providing us with another room. Cockroaches and insects abound in the rooms. It took them three hours to supply toilet paper for the bathroom. Both the sink and the shower were broken. Before paying the full advance, make sure you inspect the room.

As I have raised the complaint with you about our stolen watches during our stay in Lake View Inn but the manager stopped responding to our calls.

So pathetic and reckless staff

There should be an option to give negative as rating. This place didn’t fail to disappoint us in our 2 days’ stay. I was not able to sleep for the entire time we were there. The room was filled with bed bugs all around. When we informed them they just swiped the floor nothing else. Only positive about this place is its location and looks pretty from outside. Don’t fall for that. The rooms and place is soo congested you will be able to hear everything people talking in another room. Not only that, whenever people are going to their washrooms we were able hear the noise of flushing and exhaust fan. Imagine you hear this for entire night.
Food is also not out of the world. It was average.
Please plan accordingly, don’t fall for the positive reviews!
