KMVN Tourist Rest House, Lohaghat

I think some how this place has lost it's charm. I have not seen guests turning up on a regular basis when we stayed; we were the only guest in that huge property. Similarly there was mention of one or two stray guests in a day or two in their guest register, probably this is the reason why KMVN is not interested in maintaining the property.
Only one staff was there to take care of the whole property including kitchen.

Tourist rest house is located at beautiful natural place .... amazing location .... ............@@@@ However huts are not functional .... whenever I reached there .... i found locked huts .... It s a government property ... It's very pity that uttarakhand government has neglected this valuable tourist property by which it can earn revenue and the local people of Lohaghat might get employment ....

KMVN is non-functional. Location is great. Nearby Abott house, short stroll, haunted house, delapitated church, cemetery.
BTW, full mobile network.

Beautiful cosy place to crash in.
Friendly lodge staff who cooked us meal and made us feel at home. The banquet hall is class apart, amidst greenery and much peace.
Highly recommend for travellers visiting the area. The market is at a 10 minutes walking distance 🍻

Beautiful place. One should stay near Abott hill. Hidden gem of Himalayas and a true off beat place. Not many tourists here...

Lohaghat is a hill station with many tourist spots around. Lohaghat is situated at 1800 meter altitude. This ancient town of Lohaghat has historical and mythological importance which attracts a number of tourists. So many places you visit from lohaghat.
