OYO 18269 Tulsi Guest House

I stayed there for 1 night. The experience was more than average. Gorakhpur should not be considered as a city to get easy hotels and more than that cheap hotels..you have to toil hard to be satisfied there.hence when i came across this "guest house" ,i was satisfied.i paid 1300 rs for the room with no complimentary things.staffs were friendly.

Very nice place i stayed here for 3 days and enjoyed a lot here... 1 thing i would like to suggest that improve your wifi range as the wifi doesn't work in the room which is next to the entrance. Rest everything is upto the mark...

hotel was full of mosquitoes 🦟, couldn't sleep well as they even don't have mosquito repellent like goodnight or All out.
Need to work on this, for daytime it's good but night time it's bad option due to mosquitoes

Worst Manager. They vary price of the breakfast. One day he charged 80 another day for same he asked 100. When asked why price is high, he says "Jo bola hai dena padega ". I objected for half glass milk served on full price, then Manager asked his staff to add water in front of me. Hotel is run by such goons, better stay away and not to indulge in any argument. Avoid this place, not safe.

I want to give zero star to this place but its not possible.

I stayed in this hotel on 6th July 2021 for one day.

1. Booked this hotel because its rated 4.5+ on OYO.
2. This hotel is very far and outside of the city center but I still booked because of the positive ratings it had in OYO.
3. Reached the hotel after the regular check-in time but, to my disappointment, my room was not ready because the AC was broken.
4. After 30 minutes wait at the reception, I was given a very dirty and uncleansed room.
5. The room given to me was way smaller than what I had originally booked.
6. Requested the manager to at least get the wash room cleaned because if was dirty and stinking but they did not acknowledge my request. I had to manage with the current condition.
7. The phone in the room was not working so I had to call up the manager on his cell phone for room service. Sometimes the manager's phone is busy for hours but he would never return the call as courtesy. Which means, I had to sometimes wait for hours for basic necessities like water.
8. The TV wasn't working. He said they have to recharge but its already 8 PM so he cannot call the owner.
9. Ordered Chilly Chicken in the night. Very heavily priced but very bad in taste.
10. The manager woke me up at 6 in the morning, asking me whether I want to order breakfast. Why would you wake up a guest at 6 in the morning.
11. He again woke me up at 8 AM, asking me to pay for the Chilli Chicken I had ordered at night. I said I will pay during the checkout at 11 but he forced me to pay ASAP.
12. During the checkout, I saw a bigger, specious room which was being ready for another guest. The manager told me that was the same room I had booked but they couldn't give me because they received an external booking (outside of OYO) in the last moment so they shifted me to another room!

I can still go on but I think this info should be enough for people to avoid this hotel at any cost.

Mattress are not very comfortable, staff is not so good, service are very slow. It's very Ok type hotel, roads are very crowdy near hotel so your vehicle may stuck in jam.

Very bad experience in this guest house.room was not clean and water coffee was no bad in tast.main gain people behavior and attitude Very bad.I never recommended to this guest house.

Wasn't nice .. the receptionist doesn't know to talk to the customer. Has got lots of attitude .. not good ... Don't waste money here.
