Hotel Tamilnadu

The only restaurant with AC near Hogenekal water falls. This is located at the main entrance of the falls. Ample parking space available. Food was good. A kind of South Indian meals (buffet/thali) available for 168 INR. Fresh Fish fry available at 68 INR, Chicken fry/Kabab also available. Taste was good. Service was decent.

Economical stay. Timing is 10 to 10. They will not allow extra hours even if u r willing to pay additional amount. For that u have to give full amount for the next day 😩

This restaurant is run by Tamil Nadu Government and it is very near hogenekkal falls.Went here for lunch , they have only buffet for lunch. They only have veg buffet which costs Rs 168 per person which is exorbitant rate for the varities they serve for buffet. One can also order Chicken 65,fish fry and omelette . The rates of Chicken 65/fish fry/omelette is decent. The taste of items in vegetarian buffet was decent. Service is good. This restaurant may be the only decent restaurant for families at hogenekkal falls.

Location is good, food is great but room is just average. Too much cigarette smell everywhere.

This hotel is located adjacent to the water falls and very near to the Bus stand. Walkable distance only. Rooms are very neat and clean and well maintained by the management of the hotel Tamil Nadu. I took complementary break fast there.
Delicious and tasty food stuffs.
Rooms are safe.
The manager and the serving staffs are very kind enough to attend the customers.

Good place.thought the maintenance will be below par.but to my surprise rooms and hotel Lobby’s are very clean and well maintained.ample parking, closer to falls made our trip a relaxed one. Restaurant is there though they have less food options. it is okayish in reasonable price.

So only reason you will go there to eat is because there are no other good option near the waterfall. They charged 168/- for lunch. It was below average, in fact poor taste and uncooked.

Very good hotel and ample car parking. 24 hours hot water. Cleanliness and dressing table.
