Hotel Ashwa Park

It was a decent place. The room and bathroom were clean. There was nothing to complain about. At the same time, we only stayed one night. There was nothing to greatly appreciate, either.

It's a good place but I felt the price is slightly higher for the kind of stay. But over all a good place at a good location.

Few Years back, I stayed in Hotel Ashwa Park in Salem, Tamil Nadu and it was a great experience.
The room service was great.
The Breakfast was tasty and awesome. Still there is a scope of improvement by introducing more menus and options.
Overall it is a nice experience and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay @ Hotel Ashwa Park in Salem, Tamil Nadu and would recommend the same to you.

I booked a standard room for 3 adults via goibibo. The room was quite small. But the comfort level was good. Attractive furniture and decoration. The extra bed provided was an actual cot, not just a simple bedding. The room was so small that there was no place to move after that extra cot was placed. The service I have not found to be at par with any star hotel. The room TV Tata Sky application they did not recharge (remember that it is a star hotel). In next 4 hours they could not do it, even they tried repeatedly. That was a very sorry state of affair. The night receptionist did not have courtesy to update the status. The restaurant was spacious. But the North Indian Dinner was horrible. I feel, the hotel should exclude North Indian menus from the menu card if there was no proper cook to prepare them. The complementary breakfast was superb indeed. Overall the hotel was clean. The normal staffs were well behaved and prompt. The receptionists were the weak points of this hotel - both day and night. Their behaviour was good but the professional promptness was totally missing. I would recommend this hotel for business / family / solo travelers. But remember that it is always good to stay only 2 adults max per standard room, due to space crunch. And please keep in mind that in a standard room you will get only two bottles of water (500 ml each), one small shampoo, one small soap, a dental kit. That's all. No electric kettle, tea bag. Environment is very quiet and calm. The road is not congested and very close to NH 44.

The STANDARD room space is relatively small for 3 adults. After the extra bed, there is almost no space to stand. But I should mention the bed and the extra bed (a proper cot) are both very comfortable. The furniture is good and trendy. The lighting is enough. Two major drawbacks that I found are - 1) Shear negligence. The Tata Sky account was found to be expired. The receptionist could not recharge it in 4 hours. I waited and did not get any update after giving multiple reminders. This is unexpected for a star (as mentioned) hotel. 2) The North Indian Food in the restaurant was simply a disaster. Would advise removing the items from menu cards unless a proper cook is available for North Indian food preparation. But I should say, the complementary breakfast was very good. The staff behavior was very warm and courteous.Location wise it is quite preferable. It is very near to NH 44. Cool, a peaceful locality with no congested roads. Overall the hotel is nice for Family / Solo Travelers if the expectations are not too high. Except for two 500 ml water bottles, one small shampoo and a dental kit, no tea bags, or electric kettle were provided. When about is being spent, some basic services can't the travelers expect because one cup of tea cost Rs. 50 in the restaurant. Ample parking space is available.

Good room with all required amenities.
Tasty food. Good service by all staff.
Only issue is stinking in the washroom.

We had our Birthday party at ashwa park yesterday...They have done very well at reasonable price in salem...
Manager Mohan Kumar sir supported very well throughout the event and the food was very excellent.
