Place is owned by family of Tenzing Norgay a travel agent operating from Gangtok. Basic facilities, food and lodging part of the package to visit north Sikkim. Understandable as very thing has to be transported from lower level of Sikkim. Life is harsh for the villagers, who survive on tourists.

I don’t think they pay for electricity. No heaters . No power only at this place. Come if you want to have some adventurous nights with candles in freezing cold. They don’t even give additional blanket… night food was ok. Morning is supposed to just bread. I don’t know how just bread can betaken as breakfast when you have paid for both…
