I changed my review from 5 star to 3 star as hotel receptionist forcefully gave 5 star rating from my phone which I felt was not good at all. I stayed there for 2 days. Service, cleaning, and food quality were ok. I got a bad experience with the food of our choice. When I ordered some food, that food of my choice was not available, I changed my mind and order another one and again I got the same reply that this is not available. Sorry for the inconvenience. If your service is good then you need not about rating. And provide everything which you have mentioned in your menu card.

Hotel is not that bad at all.But the Room was too small as compared to what they describe during the booking. Also according to their price Room wasn't worth at all. They did not offer water by themselves when we check in.Charges extra for early check-in which was almost 2hr before the their check-in time. We waited for 3 hrs as our bus arrival was early in the morning but we told them we will be needed room ASAP in the morning But they don't care. At checkout they forced to give 5 star ratings. Even they asked for our phone to write review by themselves.

My experience at the hotel is not that good. I was promised that we will not be charged any early check in however, they charged us 500 bucks for early check in where they made us wait for 3 hours before providing any room. The room didn't justified the charge I had to pay for 2 nights and 3 days and they didn't even offered water to us. Room service isn't on point like if I've called reception for anything, they'll made me wait for a whole day before I call them again for the same thing. And they don't have any slippers for bathrooms and the food is overrated. Overall not a 5 star experience like before (coz the staff took my phone and rated their hotel themselves a five star hotel).

We were 4 members and we stayed in family room with 6 bunk beds which was a new experience. But the room was shown in a very different perspective. It seemed like the room was quite spacious but turned out congested. The beds were dirty the sheets were not clean the bathroom didn’t have a hand shower. Moreover when we are checking out the staff made us give a review in front of them which was kind of rude. The aura was good but I won’t recommend it to anyone.

I had a good experience at the Rooftop dinner date on my second wedding anniversary at the hotel Sarang palace. The decoration was good, staff is great. Veer was our attendent and he did his job well to make me and my wife comfortable. Taste of food was decent.
Overall it was a good memorable experience spending time there.

Hotel is nice & location is also fine.

Scope of Improvement:
1. Washrooms are outdated, renovation is must.
2. They charged Rs.250 each for breakfast, but options were very less in that.
3. We called Hotel for booking they gave us someone number and we booked the hotel & paid full that time. At Checkout time reception gave me just the bill of additional food. They told me to take bill of booking from that guy only.

Thats illogical, it seems that they are doing booking from 3rd party person. But I should get the bill from reception only.

Rooms were neat and clean. Decent hotel for the given price (4k) for 2 nights however they need to re work on the bathroom as it's really small and congested (the toilet and bathing area are less than one arm's distance from each other). They need to make it a little more spacious.
The major plus point of the hotel is the location as all major areas and tourist spots, restaurants etc. are easily accessible.

UPDATE: My refund was processed after they figured it out. I greatly appreciate it since refunding international cards is probably not an issue they run into often.

We thought the location was perfect. There’s great food just outside the hotel and it’s in between all the major attractions.

The hotel itself is super cute. We stayed in a decorated room as well as a regular one (due to availability and last-minute changes in our plans). We preferred the regular room, but if you’re into the decorations for an occasion then that could still be a good option for you. As others have noted, the bathrooms are a bit dated (the showers, mostly) but we didn’t mind. They work just fine.

We also found the service to be really good! Everyone was very kind to us and accommodating when we needed to adjust our reservation on short notice due to a change in travel plans. They accommodated our check-in and check-out, which were both in the wee hours of the morning.

Overall, the hotel is a great value and I would recommend staying here. This is a really great spot for travelers who like to spend a lot of time out in town, but also like to have a nice spot to come back to.

I really didn’t want to have to leave a bad review because my stay was quite nice. I even waited over a month to post a review hoping that the hotel would resolve this issue. But they have not, so here I am. Because they make you pay before you arrive (odd practice, but alright), I accidentally wound up overpaying 20,000 rupees. They were very nice and said processing a refund wouldn’t be a problem… Except it apparently is. I reluctantly gave them my bank information to process the refund, but then they responded asking for my Indian account information. I don’t have an Indian account, and even humored them by trying to see if I could get set up on any Indian payment sites. It’s simply not possible without an Indian phone number, etc. 20,000 rupees is not a small amount of money, and if you’re going to do business with international customers and their various cards/accounts, you should have the facilities to properly serve them. That’s all.
