KARAIKAL ASHOK BEACH RESORT

Overall experience was fine as we were only staying for the night and hardly spent 12 hours there most of which we were sleeping. Rooms are spacious although the whole property is looking old with paint peeling off in few places within the room. I guess it's an old property which has been renovated recently as there is false ceiling with lighting and split air conditioning. There is a spiral staircase in the room which takes you to a smaller room upstairs which also has two single beds and an AC. The outer aesthetics does not really give the view of a well maintained resort and I would put it more in the category of a motel. But for a short stay it's fine.
It was ok for a family stay.

Average stay experience. No restaurant included. Fans are not working, intercom not worked. Everytime have to go reception for any help. People who works there are very kind and helpful. Positive is locates in beach side. Also other shops railway station everything near by. For 1 day 2 day trip this is superb. I will recommend for short trip stay.

Everything is good about this resort, its location, and so on. However, 4 stars are missing from my review because I was missing Mortein spray and a mosquito bat to kill the flies and hospitality was missing. Oh yes, if you are lucky, you can expect some spoilt food.

There is only one word to describe our family's experience: TERRIBLE.
This place is overpriced and almost with no amenities. It is also understaffed. I pity the staff who had no training whatsoever in hotel management. Totally wasted our money and time.

Best place and excellent services.... View of the room is very gorgeous to see the beach and park also best for children to play.... Food quality of canteen is very good....

Karaikal is a beautiful town and I really liked my stay at Ashoka Beach resort. Nice property though it can be maintained a bit more. Rooms are spacious and tidy. Beach is around 600 meters from the resort. Overall a nice stay here and definitely would like to come again.

Picturesque!The location of the hotel is amazing. You can see the sea standing near the door of your room. I booked for a deluxe room, and it was fantastic. The best part was the spiral railing connecting the room to the terrace room. The staffs are very good, kind and polite.
