OTDC Panthanivas Keonjhar

Very comfortable staying for 5 night in Keonjhar. Location slightly outside of the city & in the lap of Eastern Ghat Range. Keonjhar is famous for Waterfalls, at least 10-12 WF we had visited, besides that many Mandirs & Historical places in & around this location.

OTDC Guest House Keonjhar is located just besides main road of Kronjhor. Rooms are budget friendly we have taken a premium double bad room with extra 2016+236. The condition of the room for the price seems to be decent. A little bit of maintenance may change the picture completely.Service is ok (although there is no working charging point but after informing manager arranged extension cord immediately which is very much appreciated)
There is a restaurant connected and food has to be ordered separately. Food quality is also more than adequate.

Keonjhar once was a very popular gate away from city . That was 40 to 50 years ago. Now the city is under control of miners and transporter. Smog covered the areas upto 8 am in the morning. But still it is good holiday destinations for one or two day.
This OTDC guest house is Panrhanivas. Its appears to be a old guest house. Due to its location beside highway and very close to some tourist attraction it is very popular among travellers. Parking is available inside. Rooms are ordinary. Service was coordial and promt. Rates are reasonable.
So yes you can book if you want to visit the place with a economic and decent saty.

I had an excellent stay here. Room are good, staff are very cooperative. They have in house restaurant and they prepare food according to you. Very good parking. I had a awesome time there.

The best place to stay in Keonjhar, and also for those people who are crossing this area from Kolkata to Mumbai. The staff of this guest house are very cooperative, with always a smile on their faces, The food is also very much & within budget. The only recommendation from my side is that, little modification is required on the old side of the building of the Guest House, for this reason I have given 4 stars.

Stayed in a very dirty, moist and damp room, never enter day light at the room. food menu is very limited, overall very unhealthy. will never recommend anyone.

Everything is good except the billing for driver's accommodation. They have no defined and published policy regarding rate etc. for driver's accommodation. The billing desk has a practice of finalizing all the bills first writing 'NIL' in the last field and then insert an arbitrary burgained figure (they demanded Rs. 1,000 from us for two nights' accommodation of our driver and afterwards settled at Rs. 600) in that field of the accommodation bill. It is not clear whether impression of this last time insertion is reflected in the carbon copy of the bill or not. Management should look into the matter and publish their policy in this regard.

I liked the stay.. Service was good.. Stayed for one night only.. So I could not explore much.. overall stay is fine..
