Excellent place to bring your family along. We (two adults + two kids) visited during Puja holidays in 2022, and we share the positives and negatives as per our experiences Positives: 1) Location: In the heart of city and very close to Main Puri Beach and Swargdwar Market (<10 mins). 2) Beach access: Access to what is almost a private beach- located next to Niladri beach, locals refer to it as the Mayfair beach. The door from the hotel opens to the walking strip and leads to the private beach. 3) Facilities: kid play area, table tennis room, pool table near the reception area, swimming pool (for kids and adults), open bar, garden with a covered swing, and a Panda to facilitate Shri Jagannath Temple visit 4) Room and amenities: We stayed in Premier room with sea-facing balcony. Rooms are spacious and the bathroom is huge (including a bathtub). All basic and many luxury amenities are provided in the room and the bathroom. Water is served in designer Glass bottles and can be replaced for free as many times- a big and welcome relief for families as the daily water consumption is high. The hotel also replaces packets of chips, biscuits, cold drinks, and tea/coffee bags as per requirement. 5) Food- Lavish buffett spread for breakfast and dinner (our package included both). The in-room service, food quantity and quality is also very good. We once asked for milk-roti (doodh roti) for our infant child and the kitchen staff were kind enough to serve us fresh and hot rotis and milk. 6) Decent parking area- The hotel does not have much parking space but is able to make space for about 15-16 cars in the road between Mayfair Waves and Mayfair Heritage. There are security guards near the parking area (which is close to the entrance) and that ensures the parked vehicles are safe. 7) Service- The staff were polite and used to greet almost every time we crossed paths. We must mention that we had left behind a couple of clothings and and when we called the hotel after our departure, they were kind enough to locate it and send it through courier (we are yet to receive it, although we have been shared the courier tracking number).
Negatives/Scope for Improvement: 1) We had to change our room after the first night because of malfunctioning of AC, telephone, and one of the bathtoom taps. On complaining, the problem of bathroom taps was attended to. But in spite of multiple reminders to the housekeeping and reception, no one came to attend the problems of AC and telephone. We were, however, offered a change to another room with a slightly better sea view. We appreciate yhis gesture of the hotel, but would also like to suggest them to ensure service compliants raised by customers are attended to 2) We found split AC in the hotel rooms a bit surprising considering the rooms also had provisions for central cooling. The central cooling was, however, not working and we could not get a satisfactory response for it not functioning. 3) The website could be improved further. It is not easy to access from a mobile device and when compared to other premium hotels- e.g., ITC, Hyatt, Marriott etc., the website experience is a little underwhelming. The hotel is also not easy to reach by phone as the presence of a EPABX/central Mayfair call receiving service means, one has to try multiple times and/or wait before being connected to someone in the hotel.

Guest House is very beautiful location at Sea beach. Room is sea facing. Hospitality fine. Plesent behaviour. Support stuff also good. Wish to come again here. But one drawback is no elevator. Advice to arrange it as soon as possible.

Our stay at Harin Guest House was just superb. Location of guest house is excellent. Rooms were comfortable & well designed. House keeping, general behabiour is homely. Lastly room rent is very reasonable

Good location to mandir and sea beach..... superb communication to all area....staff behaviour is too good.... costing is also too good comparison to staying comfort and staying location.......must recommend.......
