Banalari Pine Inn

We were served little quantity and poor quality of food in breakfast violating all promises. No parking space in the hotel. No sitting arrangement at reception.
Neither The reception staff doesn’t stay in hotel at night nor they pick up calls in night. The owner never picked up and attend any complaints of the tourists.
Banalari pine inn hotel is worst hotel so far in my whole life.We were 3 families we booked 4 rooms 3 for us and 1 for our kids and we booked the hotel 1 months before the trip they had all our details and when we checked in they were giving the rooms on all different floors how could we let our children stay at the different floor..... Worst Experience the staff was very rude...

Worst stay in Shillong. We stayed at 3 places and this was the worst experience. The room sizes are extremely small and claustrophobic. The staff is rude and not interested in any work. They have weird rules like will give only one egg per person for breakfast (which was included in the room tariff) we had to skip the breakfast so we could have a peaceful one.

I along with my wife stayed in this hotel recently for 2 nights at charge of total approximately 7000 INR and hotel was booked at booking.com.
1- The room was very small in size wrt booking charges.
2- Washroom was also very small.
3 - Room and Washroom was not properly clean.
4 - In our whole stay in this hotel , First & last time we order lunch and found head hair in that and it was very pathetic. 5 - Services they are providing are not matching with price they are charging.

The restaurant looks pretty good, clean however the location is on the 4th floor n the only way to reach the restaurant is through the stairs. The quantity of the chicken sandwich we ordered is very very small which is quite shocking compared to the price charged for the same but they provided with an extra plate of sandwich complimentary thanks to the lady incharge who understood our concern.
Hope to get a much better service next time

Staff is the cheery on this cake. Rooms good but small compact size. And parking issues. Location 1.5km from paltan bazar

We stayed for two nights here. Room size and. Bathroom is quite smaller but designed beautifully. No lifts and complementary breakfast will be served on the top floor. Overall experience was good.

Very nice hotel with good rooms though small, as can't fit extra mattress.
It just misses a elevator / lift to go to 3rd and 4th floor (restaurant) but must say that the staircase is interesting with paintings and sculpture in walls.
It is snuggled in one of the lanes in prime Upper Shillong and I would surely stay again.

It was very nice. We stayed here for 3 days during first week of Nov 2021. For 2 persons, room is comfortable. For a 3 member family, when extra bed is placed, it’s congested. Facilities in the room are very good. Room heater is also available. View of Shillong from balcony is awesome. Food taste is good. Because of less staffed at restaurant, delay will be there when more guests are staying. But hot n tasty food is served. Overall very good for the amount paid during Diwali vacation time.
